Country’s favorite ginger is back! That would be Georgia’s own Cole Swindell, who is dropping his third studio album, All of It (August 17).  After a slow, but steady promo campaign, Swindell releases one final pre-release single.  Fittingly, that single is the title track, “All of It.”

“All of It” is a mid-tempo track, that embraces natural country music cues.  That includes the banjo. The focus for Mr. Swindell is love, and it won’t surprise you to know that ole boy wants “all of it.” On the first verse, he sings, “Still taste your kiss from this morning / Girl, you say there’s another one waiting / Hoping it’s a long one, break out the dawn one / I want every one you got.”  On the second verse, he wants to you “see you in a pair of cut-up jeans,” as well as “Feel all your teardrops drippin’ on me / the sad ones, the happy ones / I want every one you got.”  Can you say #infatuated? As he sings, he sounds beautiful, flaunting his distinct and expressive pipes like a champ.

Expectedly, the chorus is energetic, incorporating a heavier, more rhythmic sound, alongside more dynamic vocals.  Lyrically, it’s wordy, but effective nonetheless.

“Give me that ‘Let’s get out of here go jump in the river’ / Girl show me what that rockin’ body looks like in the firelight / Wrap me up with all that love you been holding back your whole life / Girl I wish you would just hit me with that…”

Notably, there are some nice, if subtle harmonized vocals that appear during this section.  As for the bridge, well, Swindell keeps it brief: “Baby, I want all of it / All the time / Everything you got I wanna make all mine.”

Final Thoughts

All in all, Cole Swindell continues to deliver the goods on “All of It.” Based on the advance singles, All of It seems like it should give the ‘good ole Georgia boy’ another successful LP.  “All of It” isn’t game changing mind you, but C.S. does respectably for himself.
