City Girls, "Twerkulator" [📷 : Quality Control Music ]Rap duo City Girls reveal their cards from the start on their short, infectious, rump shaking anthem, “Twerkulator.”

“It’s time for the twerkulator / It’s time for the twerkulator…” Say what? On the short single 🎵 “Twerkulator”, Rap duo 🎙 City Girls are all about twerking – shaking B-O-O-T-Y.  🎙 JT, who performs the aforementioned line from the chorus, goes on to spit, “I’ma shake what my mama gave me / I’ma shake my money maker.”  Honestly, the Girls show their cards from the start of this joint.

After she performs the chorus, JT goes on to drop the first verse. Again, it’s all about butt and ultimately, sex: “Right cheek, left cheek wit’ it (Woo) / Fun size, on fleek wit’ it (Uh).”  There’s nothing transcendent, just twerking.  Similarly, 🎙 Yung Miami speaks about those ASSets, asserting, “I’m litty, diamonds drippy, eat my pussy, that’s a quickie / I’m twerkin’, pussy poppin’ like a Cuban bitch at tootsies.” I guess it’s also crystal clear that “Bad bitches on the paper chase,” which not only speaks to City Girls’ success as musicians but also ‘making it rain’ given, um, the twerking – bands and such. All the while that these highly confident and highly sexual rhymes are being dropped, the Girls are supported by sleek production by 🎛 Mr. Hank.  Face it, you’ll wanna twerk to… or at least dance to the beat.

Final Thoughts 💭

“Twerkulator” isn’t the least bit deep – that goes without saying.  However, it’s an enjoyable and infectious banger from JT and Yung Miami. No, you won’t be educated after listening to this ‘ass’ anthem, but hey, at least you can join City Girls and shake yours too.  As the old saying goes, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!”
