Even before Chris Brown jumps right into “Wobble Up”, the exemplification of After Dark muzik, Magnolia Shorty sets up the naughtiness about to transpire.  Of course, Magnolia Shorty, a proponent of the New Orleans bounce scene, has been deceased since 2010, when she was murdered at the age of 28.  Her 1996 record, “Monkey on tha Dick”, is sampled on this filthy banger.

Jesus, Chris Brown! The Indigo (2019) standout is catchy AF, Finding Mr. Brown continuing his full-on, bad boy ways. As the infectious chorus suggests, the Grammy winner continues to thrive on all thing sex. He seems to be relentless in attaining pleasure via his, um, joystick.  He’s incredibly hedonistic on the first verse, closing out saying: “Huh, your ex-nigga, he was dumb as fuck / Soon as I gave her the dick, she fallin’ in love.”

Of course, Breezy taps some friends to take this naughty, After Dark trek with him. Nicki Minaj brings her own degree of filth on the second verse, including the unfortunate lyric, “When I bust a nut, I don’t ever wanna cuddle up.” G-Eazy exemplifies fuckboy rap on the third verse: “Yeah, she had the night shift, I made her cancel work / Then I asked her twerk on the D, I pulled out, splashed her shirt.” MERCY!

Music Video  

As you’d expect, the music video is sexed-up like the song.  Primarily, this comes down to provocative outfits courtesy of the girls, as well as ample twerking.  Also, worth noting, Brown’s dancing is sexually charged too.  How could it not be? Regardless of what you think of him, the man can dance!

Final Thoughts

“Wobble Up” lacks the least bit of transcendence.   What it doesn’t lack is stimulation.  Feeling horny? Feeling lustful? Well, “Wobble Up” will only intensify such feelings, NO CAP!
