“This drip got you in heat / Just jump in, baby girl, hop on this dick, yeah” Oh Chris Brown, you never fail to be true to self, do you? This lyric, which hails from the chorus of “Heat” ( Indigo) is very much on brand with what we associate with the fine-looking, rich, bad boy. He can get any woman he wants to have sex with and spoil her, basically: “You know I’m on beat / All this drip got your ass in heat.”  So, is he comparing her to a dog? Anyways, the Grammy-winning R&B singer taps Gunna for the assist on this part banger, part After Dark joint.

Buddah Bless produces the backdrop, providing fuel for Brown and Gunna’s un-humbled, sexed-, and dripped-up fire.  So, with a knocking beat behind him, Brown asserts, “If you throw it, it’s gon’ get knocked up / You playin’ hide and seek, I’m a find you / Baby, hold on tight when you ride me…” Woo! Okay, then. What happens in the bedroom should stay in the bedroom, right? Moving on, Gunna informs her in the second verse, “Once I fuck you good, I got you / in your feelings / Birkin bags and Goyard pouches / Got you drippin’.” Woo! It’s just something about those Birkin bags, isn’t it? Prior to that, however, he spits, “Super wet, her juice is runnin’ down her knee…” Day-um!

Final Thoughts

It should go without saying that “Heat” isn’t super-deep or honestly, deep at all.  This is a sex and flex-fest joint, plain and simple.  Chris Brown and Gunna are both feeling themselves and know they are capable of bedding any girl they desire.  What more is there to say?
