harmian Devi and her ‘Radio Of None‘ release are pushing through the industry noise at every turn, and it is evident as to why. The track is a thrilling ride with an eclectic range of sounds that accompany the journey.

It all kicks off with a guitar rhythm which gives the track an instant sturdy fundamental. Charmian then pops up from nowhere and unleashes a stand out vocal performance, often showcasing her climactic character. Her technique is somewhat unorthodox, and it isn’t easy to mirror her alongside another artist in the modern arena.

Lyrically, Charmian delves deep spiritually, and she speaks about being lonely and finding a way back to higher ground. Her words resonate with those who feel isolated in modern life, and she provides escapism through her thought-provoking wordplay.

The music is exciting, and although it begins somewhat simplistic, it soon gets into full gear once her star friends arrive. Furthermore, Charmian recruits Lenny Kaye, Tony Garnier, Steve Shelley, and Brian Marsella, giving the track extra shine.

Overall, ‘Radio Of None‘ is one of those tracks that is easy to get lost even after playing many times. Also, it brings a poignant story to the vanguard, which many will be able to relate to given the last few years endured.
