Central Cee, Booga [📷: Columbia]English rapper Central Cee brings the heat on his short but engaging and fierce single, “Booga.”

“If you don’t get money, you’ll suffer.”
And with that, so begins “Booga” by UK rapper, Central Cee.  Cench manages to drop plenty of bars into one verse. Notably, “Booga” runs just under two minutes long. Following the spoken word intro, Cench compels with his charming, heavy British accent. His rhymes are agile over a subdued backdrop, produced by Roddy Beatz, Arthur Bean, Young Chencs, and Smokey Jam. The backdrop features a rhythmic drum groove and subtle singing. Where do the sung vocals hail from? Well, “Booga” samples the song “Too Fast” by Sonder.

“The beef ting’s borin’, I just want mula / My French ting said, ‘Do a song with Booba’,”
he spits near the top of the verse, referencing the French rapper.  Of course, Central Cee exudes confidence and toughness throughout, stating, “I hate when they talk ‘bout the T, only grams of white you seen is sugar.” Of course, he also raps about wanting girls uninterested in him, stating, “I’ve never spent one pound on a hooker.” As “Booga” progresses, Cench grows more energetic.  He brags, “I made M’s off rap, I’m stable / I done it, no label, when I was unsigned.” He concludes, “I watched Slumdog Millionaire and relate to the kid from Mumbai.” Central Cee keeps it real and entertaining on “Booga”. There’s just something special about Cench.
