“Go ahead / Keep moving / Go ahead / Don’t be afraid / Yeah, okay, blackout.” What happens when you put two electronic music acts – 🎙 ODESZA and 🎙 Golden Features – together? Why, 🎙 BRONSON, of course! BRONSON released their self-titled album in the midst of COVID-19, 2020.  One of the songs that truly stood out is the ninth track, 🎵 “KEEP MOVING.”  Mostly instrumental, “KEEP MOVING” is incredibly compelling – a surefire bop. Also, this electronic gem gets a truly clever, intriguing, music video 🎶📼 which you can view below 🔻 in all its glory.  Little Black Book does a fabulous job of discussing how the visual was constructed during the lockdown of 2020.

So, what makes “KEEP MOVING” such a vibe beyond the music video 🎶📼 ? It’s simple, folks. The groove is electrifying, which is the expectation from electronic music producers. The groove is EVERYTHING, and that proves to be the case in “KEEP MOVING.” Furthermore, the synths are colorful and ear-catching, with no shortage of rhythm.  Rhythm is integral to the success of this joint.  Essentially, this is > (greater than if your math is fuzzy from elementary school) four minutes of musical excellence, with the few lyrics only amplifying the experience: “I can see how it moves / Don’t be afraid / I can see how it moves / Blackout again.”  🎙 Catacomb Kid (Harrison Mills) of ODESZA comments about the vision of “KEEP MOVING” to Apple Music:

“This song is really about pushing through and the inner dialogue you have with yourself when facing an obstacle or opponent. Instrumentally and lyrically, we wanted to convey that intense emotion and the experience of channeling all of your energy to conquer whatever you’re facing. One interesting element of this track is that we sampled an army marching to give it this pulsing, percussive drive at its core. It just grew from there.”

What more is there to say? 🎙 ODESZA + 🎙 Golden Features make a formidable team as 🎙 BRONSON.  🎵 “KEEP MOVING” is the sugar honey iced tea.  No, we’re not necessarily shaking our butts as we listen to this electronic gem, but that groove does make us feel some type of way.  You’ll be moving some part of your body while listening – best believe that!
