Drake expectedly takes his latest album, ‘Views,’ to no. 1 on the Billboard 200. Beyoncé slips to no. 2 with ‘Lemonade.’

It’s safe to say that this week was owned by one album – Drake’s Views. Yep, those ‘Views’ earned Drake another no. 1 album and the biggest sales of his career. Nobody else came close to topping the “6God” this week, not even Beyoncé’s Lemonade. While Drizzy is the big news, there are other chart stories for the Billboard 200 Chart dated May 21, 2016.

1. Drake easily takes Views to no. 1. Did anybody honestly expect a different outcome? Drake’s previous albums naturally see a bump.

2. Beyoncé had to give her throne to Drake this week but “Hold Up” – Lemonade still yielded robust numbers in the runner-up slot.

3. Prince’s music still lives on…in the top five of the Billboard 200 that is. Both Purple Rain and The Very Best Of Prince continue to deliver sound numbers at nos. 3 and 4 respectively. 1999 drops out of the top 10, but gives Prince a third album in the top 20 (no. 14).

4. Rob Zombie’s Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser debuts at no. 6. Given such a hellish title, Zombie’s album seems blessed to debut so celestially.

5. NOW 58 debuts modestly at no. 7. There was a time when the Now That’s What I Call Music series easily debuted in the top five and now, even more rarely, no. 1.

6. Adele finds her way back into the top 10. 25 ascends four spots from no. 14 to no. 10.

7. Panic! At The Disco sees a spike in sales as Death Of A Bachelor improves 17 spots from no. 34 to no. 17.

8. Sixx: A.M.’s Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1 lands the final debut within the top 20 of the BB200 at no. 19. Prayers answered!

9. Empire’s Original Soundtrack Season 2, Volume 2 starts unimpressively at no. 26. Hmm, not only is the series losing steam, so are the music sales.

10. Aesop Rock sees Impossible Kid debut at no. 30. For AR, those are respectable numbers.

11. Martina McBride just doesn’t sell like she once did…NOT AT ALL. Reckless opens tepidly at no. 31.

12. Tremonti’s latest album Dust begins at no. 34. Yuck!

13. Prince’s HITnRUN: Phase Two improves 76 spots from no. 116 to no. 40. 40 marks the set’s highest peak position.

14. After scoring his second career top 10 album with Always Strive And Prosper, A$AP Ferg sees his sophomore album slip 38 spots from no. 8 to no. 46.

15. Sturgill Simpson’s A Sailor’s Guide To Earth continues to see sales slide. This week, the set slips from no. 31 to no. 55.

16. Santana IV dips 35 spots from no. 36 to no. 71.

17. Troye Sivan comes back down to earth…or rather closer to triple digits on the BB200. Blue Neighbourhood slips 20 spots from no. 54 to no. 74.

18. The JayhawksPaging Mr. Proust debuts at no. 75.

19. Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled Unmastered improves seven spots from no. 86 to no. 79.

20. After debuting at no. 12, NF sees Therapy Session free fall an alarming 69 spots to no. 81.

21. Progress report on 2 Chainz’s ColleGrove – it’s not performing very well. This week, ColleGrove slips from no. 101 to no. 104. That’s a modest drop, but the album has only been on the charts 10 short weeks.

22. Speaking of other albums underperforming, The 1975’s I Like It When You Sleep… is a prime candidate. This week, the album drops just six spots from no. 107 to no. 113. That said it has only graced the charts for 10 weeks much like ColleGrove and debuted at no. 1.

23. TWENTY88 = EPIC FAIL. This week, Big Sean and Jhené Aiko dropped 32 spots from no. 100 to no. 132 in just five weeks.

24. Deftones aren’t having the best luck with Gore. Sigh, Another week, another drop in sales. This week, Gore slips 31 spots from no. 114 to no. 145.

25. K. Michelle may have “Rich people problems,” but she won’t have that issue with More Issues Than Vogue. Nope, the album is not selling well. This week, More Issues Than Vogue slips from no. 145 to no. 155 in week six.
