bbno$, boom | Song Review

Once more, Canadian rapper and singer bbno$ brings ample entertainment, fun, and laughs with his infectious single, “boom.”

Did you know, “She got that boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.” Well, if you didn’t know, Canadian rapper, singer, and “it boy” bbno$ (Alexander Gumuchian) ensures you know she possesses dat “boom”. He continues rapping on the chorus, “And now I’m in her room” (more booms follow) and “She told me, ‘Come back soon.’” Ooh-wee! As is often the case with bbno$ tracks, “boom” is entertaining as fuck.  The infectious, minimalist, and repetitive chorus confirms that.  The boom-heavy hook is not transcendent, but it is a surefire vibe.  Beyond the chorus, Gumuchian delivers a compelling cadence and flow in both verses.  There are no shortage of ear-catching lines including the likes of “Tossin’ her like ensalada / She took my whole enchilada,” and “Fuck your man, he’s just a pussy / I La Roche inside her Posay.” The musical backdrop, produced by Y2K and bbno$ is electrifying, incorporating an electronic sound palette. You can’t have a bbnomula joint without a fun and silly music video.  Once again, our confident, handsome, and talented Canadian does the damn thing – he brings the “boom”!
