Ah, it’s another week!  Guess who’s atop the Billboard 200? Ding* Ding* Ding* – Drake! Views makes it 11 nonconsecutive weeks at no. 1.  So, who’s the unfortunate victim stuck behind the “6 God” this week? NEEDTOBREATHE.  Here are 50 grooves aka Billboard 200 chart stories for your reading pleasure, compiled from the Billboard 200 dated August 6, 2016.

  1. Drake spends his 11th week at no. 1 on the Billboard 200. Those Views are going nowhere.

  1. NEEDTOBREATHE becomes the latest victim to be stuck behind Drake on the Billboard 200. HARDLOVE starts at no. 2.
  1. twenty one pilots continues their chart dominance. Blurryface moves up one spot from no. 4 to no. 3 in its 62nd charting week.
  1. It’s all good for Rihanna. Anti moves up two spots – no. 6 to no 4 – in its 26th charting week.
  1. You know what’s #EpicAF? The compilation, Epic AF. After slipping outside of the top 10 at no. 11 last week, it ascends to no. 6 this week.

  1. Adele is sitting pretty in the top 10 as of late. 25 moves up two spots from no. 9 to no. 7 in its 35th week.
  1. Beyoncé’s Lemonade slips one spot from no. 7 to no. 8. Lemonade has charted for 13 weeks as of yet.
  1. Kidz Bop 32 quietly debuts at no. 9 on the Billboard 200. Yep, those kids keep going strong.

  1. ScHoolboy Q has a disappointing second week. Blank Face LP dips from runner-up to no. 10.
  1. Logic’s mixtape Bobby Tarantino reaches a new peak on the BB200. After debuting at no. 16 and plummeting to no. 38, this week, Bobby Tarantino improves 26 spots to no. 12. (The mixtape became available for download, hence the jump.)
  1. blink-182 end their stay in the top 10. California slips 10 spots from no. 3 to no. 13 in its third charting week.

  1. Dirty Heads’ self-titled album lands at no. 14. Dirty Heads is the third-best debuting album this week.

  1. The Ghostbusters soundtrack debuts modestly at no. 18.
  1. Steven Tyler’s debut solo album, We’re All Somebody From Somewhere, debuts at no. 19.
  1. Bryson Tiller barely hangs onto a spot in the top 20. The platinum-certified TRAPSOUL slips from no. 15 to no. 20 in its 43rd charting week. TRAPSOUL peaked at no. 8.

  1. After owning the top 20, Louisianan rapper Kevin Gates sees Islah slip from no. 17 to no. 21 this week. Islah has charted for 25 weeks.
  1. Good Charlotte return to the BB200 with Youth Authority. Apparently, the “authority” only goes so far as the album debuts at no. 23.
  1. Country musician David Nail takes a Fighter [mentality] to no. 26…well, in name only.
  1. Coldplay continues to ascend up the charts. A Head Full of Dreams jumps 13 spots this week (no. 45 to no. 32).

  1. Flume continues to “sit pretty” in the top 30. Skin drops three spots from no. 34 to no. 37.
  1. Hillsong UNITED returns to the BB200 as Of Dirt and Grace: Live from the Land debuts at no. 40.
  1. Jeff Beck’s latest album, Loud Hailer, debuts at no. 41.
  1. Red Hot Chili PeppersThe Getaway slips 18 spots from no. 25 to no. 43. Five weeks in, the Peppers’ latest LP hasn’t been a massive seller.

  1. 21 Savage & Metro Boomin takes Savage Mode to no. 44.
  1. Maxwell seems to be experiencing the worst-selling album of his career. blackSUMMERS’night free falls 27 spots from no. 19 to no. 46. The album has only charted three weeks.
  1. Lukas Graham’s self-titled debut ascends 10 spots from no. 58 to no. 48. Lukas Graham has charted for 16 weeks.
  1. Desiigner continues his plunge…down the charts that is. New English slips 19 spots (no. 36 to no. 55).

  1. Nick Jonas also continues his chart tumble. Last Year Was Complicated falls 14 spots from no. 43 to no. 57. Complicated has charted a mere six weeks.
  1. DNCE comes back down to earth this week. Swaay (EP) drops 26 spots from no. 39 to no. 65.
  1. Alessia Cara sees Know-It-All improve seven spots from no. 74 to no. 67. Know-It-All has charted for 36 weeks.
  1. gnash’s EP us jumps 30 spots from no. 99 to no. 69. 69th marks a new peak position.

  1. Dan + Shay continue to see-saw on the BB200. This week, Obsessed improves a whopping 29 spots from no. 101 to no. 72. Go figure!
  1. Chevelle experience a horrid sophomore week. The North Corridor plummets 65 spots (no. 8 to no. 73).
  1. Unsurprisingly, YG continues to slide down the charts. Still Brazy drops 13 more spots from no. 67 to no. 80.
  1. James Bay drops 40 [spots]! CHAOS and the Calm slides from no. 41 to no. 81.

  1. Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool slips 27 spots from no. 61 to no. 88. A Moon Shaped Pool has charted for 10 weeks.
  1. Kelsea Ballerini falls 28 spots. The First Time slides from no. 69 to no. 97.

  1. Dreezy received our approval, but the same can’t be said for music buyers. No Hard Feelings debuts tepidly at no. 101. She even had a hit with “Body” (ft. Jeremih) and the album still couldn’t do better than no. 101?

  1. Andra Day’s Cheers to the Fall re-enters the BB200 at no. 190.
  1. The Avalanches’ comeback album, Wildflower plummets from no. 27 to no. 199 in its second week.
