Adele is back! After taking a break from no. 1 on the Billboard 200, Adele reclaims her throne. While Adele’s comeback is the biggest news, there are other “grooves” to behold on the Billboard 200.

1. In her 13th week on the Billboard 200, Adele rises from no. 2 to no. 1 to spend a ninth nonconsecutive week atop the charts. Think about it – of 13 weeks on the chart, Adele has spent nine at no. 1 and all 13 within the top three.

2. Justin Bieber’s Purpose moves up three spots from no. 5 to no. 2. Purpose has had quite a run during its 14-week chart run.

3. Rihanna’s Anti spends a second week at no. 3. In it’s four weeks on the chart, Anti has charted at no. 27, no.1, and two consecutive weeks at no. 3.

4. Joey + Rory are the biggest surprise of the BB200 as Hymns debuts respectably at no. 4.

5. Grammy bumps are a real thing! Chris Stapleton’s Traveller ascends from no. 11 to no. 5. The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness also jumps six spots from no. 12 to no. 6. As for Album of the Year victor Taylor Swift, 1989 leaps 12 spots from no. 20 to no. 8.

6. Future’s EVOL slips from no. 1 to no. 10 in its second week on the charts.

7. After seeing a bump from their halftime show, Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams drops from no. 4 to no. 14 in week 11.

8. Kendrick Lamar also experiences a Grammy bump as To Pimp A Butterfly improves 44 spots from no. 60 to no. 16. Good Kid M.A.A.D. City also sees a bump from no. 97 to no. 66.

9. David Bowie’s Blackstar rebounds 20 spots from no. 42 to no. 22 in week six. Bowie’s Best Of Bowie (greatest hits compilation) also improves from no. 47 to no. 39.

10. James Bay sees Chaos And The Calm jump 77 spots from no. 99 to no. 23.

11. Alabama Shakes’ Sound & Color ascends 120 spots from no. 148 to no. 28 in its 38th charting week. Again, thank those Grammys!

12. Vince Gill didn’t build much steam behind his latest album Down To My Last Bad Habit. The veteran country artist’s latest settles for a modest no. 35 start.

13. Much like her performing partner at the Grammys, James Bay, Tori Kelly sees her debut album Unbreakable Smile jump 62 spots from no. 102 to no. 44.

14. Horrid second week for Wiz KhalifaKhalifa slips from no. 6 to no. 45. OUCH!

15. Andra Day reenters the charts at no. 48 with her Grammy-nominated debut Cheers To The Fall. No. 48 marks the new peak for the set, which up until this week had only spent one week on the Billboard 200.

16. Lacey Sturm’s Life Screams debuts quietly at no. 74.

17. Mike Posner’s The Truth EP reaches a new peak position at no. 76.

18. Audrey Assad’s Inheritance debuts at no. 81.

19. Leon BridgesComing Home jumps 27 spots from no. 154 to no. 117.

20. Brett Eldredge sees Illinois improve 10 spots from no. 129 to no. 119 in his 18th week on the charts.

21. Wheeler Walker, Jr.’s Redneck Shit debuts at no. 127. Yeah, this album isn’t going anywhere…just saying!

22. Charles Kelley’s The Driver falls 97 spots from no. 35 to no. 132. Geez!!!

23. Wynona & The Big Noise’s album of the same title debuts tepidly on the charts at no. 162.

24. Lissie’s My Wild West debuts at no. 171.

25. R. Kelly’s The Buffet reenters the charts at no. 191 in its eighth week on the charts. Yeah, this R. Kelly album went NOWHERE!
