Adele remains the queen of the Billboard 200.  There are more chart stories beyond that “Number One Spot,” but nobody outperformed Adele.  Here are some of the biggest stories from the chart dated January 23, 2016.

1. Adele spends her seventh week at no. 1. 25 is unstoppable…but we’ve already said that since week one.

2. Justin Bieber finally dethroned Adele on the Billboard Hot 100, but no such luck on the BB200.   Purpose remains the second-most impactful album of the week behind 25.

3. Not much “Stress” on the part of Twenty One Pilots; Blurryface spends another week at no. 3.

4. Rachel Platten didn’t score huge numbers with Wildfire, but hard to knock at no. 5 bow for a relatively unknown artist in the dead of January.

5. Bryson Tiller sees TRAPSOUL rise to no. 9, a new high for the Kentucky rapper/singer.

6. Chris Brown drops out of the top 10 this week as Royalty slips from no. 8 to no. 12 in its third week on the charts.

7. After 52 weeks on the chart, Meghan Trainor finds herself rising from no. 19 to no. 15. Title debuted at no. 1 when it debuted a year ago.

8. Okay, we said that 24 of the other takeaways weren’t about Adele, but isn’t it amazing her diamond-certified 21 improves from no. 22 to no. 18 in its 255th week on the charts?

9. Passion’s Salvation’s Tide is Rising debuts quietly at no. 19.

10. Ellie Goulding sees her Delirium rise 10 spots from no. 33 to no. 23 in its ninth charting week. Delirium debuted at no. 3 back in November 2015.

11. Elle King’s Love Stuff improves six spots from no. 38 to no. 32 in week number 37.

12. Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly has seen all sorts of chart extremes. This week, its 43rd on the charts, Lamar’s masterpiece improves seven spots from no. 46 to no. 39.

13. Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood slips from no. 37 to no. 43 in its fifth week on the charts.

14. Duran Duran’s Paper Gods re-enters the charts at no. 45, marking only its fifth charting week.

15. Joe Jonas’ new band DNCE move up the charts with EP Swaay, improving from no. 92 to no. 51. This is only the fourth week that Swaay has been on the Billboard 200 and the rise is likely attributable to the popularity of single “Cake By The Ocean.”

16. Andy Grammer’s Magazines Or Novels rises from no. 67 to no. 55, a 12-spot increase. Magazines Or Novels peaked at no. 19.

17. 5 Seconds of Summer’s Sounds Good Feels Good drops 20 spots from no. 41 to no. 61 after 11 weeks on the charts. Sounds Good Feels Good debuted at no. 1, besting Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller.

18. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats sees its self-titled album improve 21 spots from no. 87 to no. 66. The set spends its 20th week on the Billboard 200, initially debuting at no. 17.

19. James Bay’s stock is rising. Chaos And The Calm rises 24 spots from no. 93 to no. 69 in its 42nd week on the charts. Not many albums that debut at no. 15 can attest to having chart longevity.

20. Another dip for Logic as The Incredible True Story slips from no. 59 to no. 73 in week eight.

21. Logic is certainly doing better than Rick Ross. Black Market is by far Ross’ weakest selling album. Though it improves from no. 76 to no. 74, sitting 74th in only the fifth charting week is NOT GOOD.

22. Jason Derulo sees Everything Is 4 improve from no. 100 to no. 81 in its 25th week. Hmm, has to be that ‘hot’ single “Get Ugly.”

23. Pusha T’s King Push slips 26 spots from no. 72 to no. 98. Yeah, doesn’t look like he’s putting too many “Numbers on the Board.”

24. Boosie BadAzz’s In My Feelings. (Goin’ Thru It. debuts modestly at no. 105.

25. Brett Eldredge’s Illinois rises from no. 186 to no. 164 in its 12th week on the charts.
