Bazzi, Beautiful (Remix) [Photo Credit: Atlantic]Urban-pop artist Bazzi returns with a remix of “Beautiful,” among the highlights from his debut LP, COSMIC. He gets a lovely assist from Camila Cabello.

“Beautiful, beautiful life right now.” Ah, glad it’s going so well Bazzi, sigh. As you can tell by the headline, the young, urban-pop standout returns with a remix of his single, “Beautiful,” which appears on his debut LP, COSMIC. What was originally written about “Beautiful” in the album review of COSMIC?

On “Beautiful,” Bazzi loves everything about her. He makes some sexual references, but goes beyond the physical.

Yup – sounds about right. “Beautiful (Remix)” opens all Bazzi with the chorus, post-chorus, first verse, and the chorus once more. Supporting the earlier assertion that he “loves everything about her” is the memorable chorus:

“Hey / Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful angel / Love your imperfections, every angle / Tomorrow comes and goes before you know / So I just had to let you now.”

Also, on the post-chorus, comes the sexual references: “The way that Gucci look on you, amazing / But nothing can compare to when you’re naked.”

Camila Cabello arrives for the second verse.  Expectedly, she’s perfectly suited for this heavenly urban-pop record, with her upper-register pipes, not to mention the layered vocals and runs. “I thank God and my lucky stars / Darling, don’t you know what you are?” Bazzi and Cabello join forces for the final chorus and outro, with respective solo parts alongside the moments they sing together.

Final Thoughts

“Beautiful” was already one of the best songs from COSMIC prior to the arrival of the remix featuring Camila Cabello.  The remix is a welcome addition to the greatness.  Will it change your life? Probably not, but definitely worthwhile ear candy.
