BabyTron, 100 Bars: Rap BNGRZ πŸ”₯ No. 27 (2023) [πŸ“·: Brent Faulkner/The Musical Hype; The Hip Hop Lab / EMPIRE; cottonbro studio via Pexels]In the 27th edition of Rap BNGRZ πŸ”₯ (2023), we break down the banger status of β€œ100 Bars,” performed by BabyTron.Β

Bring on the braggadocio, drip, sex, and kicka$$ery, WOO! You’ve entered Rap BNGRZ πŸ”₯ territory! On Rap BNGRZ πŸ”₯ (bangers being the proper spelling), the premise is simple. Rap BNGRZ provides background info and commentary on cocky, confident, ferocious hip-hop/rap songs. The bangers can be brand-spanking-new or certified classics. In the 27th edition of Rap BNGRZ πŸ”₯ (2023), we break down the banger status of 🎡 β€œ100 Bars” performed by πŸŽ™ BabyTron.

BabyTron, 6 [πŸ“·: The Hip Hop Lab / EMPIRE]β€œBitch, yeah, let me count for y’all.” WOO!!! Michigan rapper πŸŽ™ BabyTron (James Johnson) teaches us to count to 100 on 🎡 β€œ100 Bars”. Who would’ve thought the opener from his 2023 album, πŸ’Ώ 6, would be so educational? Technically, there are more than 100 bars, but this two-part rap banger wasn’t devised to be a music theory lesson πŸ˜‰. Instead, this is an opportunity for Johnson to show off his creative rap skills.Β  Aiding those skills are his masculine voice, and his chill but commanding approach and flow.

fire sunglassesBabyTron came to rap, eating up the beat by πŸŽ› Damjonboi. Earlier, I mentioned that β€œ100 Bars” was a two-part song. Expectedly, half the bars (50) fall into part one, beginning with β€œOne of one, it ain’t no duplication of my DNA,” and concluding with β€œFifty rackies if you never seen that lil’ boy, you a shrimp.” Part II acknowledges the beat switch, beginning with β€œFifty-one lines in, forty nine to go,” and concluding with β€œNinety-nine my overall, that ain’t shit to go get a bucket / Only right we end it here, gon’ always keep this shit a hundred.” Now that’s πŸ’― for sure! Β In between, Johnson catches the ears many times whether he has β€œ20/20 vision off the shrooms, I’m in Wonderland,” β€œTwenty-two, I tote the deuce, deuce, this bitch a tummy tuck,” or β€œFourth and fifty-six, fuck it, gang, I’m goin’ long.” β€œ100 Bars” needs no extensive analysis – it speaks for itself!
