➕ Big, sleek production work (Ryan Met) – biggest redeeming quality of “Bummerland”

➕ The falsetto is pretty sweet; definitely ripe

➕ It runs just three minutes and change in duration

➖ The millennial songwriting aspect of AJR continues to be incredibly polarizing

➖ Too corny for its own good, from the title to the tongue in cheek lyrics

➖ While I’d argue production is a selling point, it’s also quite busy and perhaps too big at times

🔏 In Closing: So far, perhaps save for “Bang!”, I’d argue it’s truly “Bummerland” for AJR, who seem to be embracing the plight of the millennial more than usual on OK ORCHESTRA.
