ell, SCANNING THE CHARTS is just what it says it is.ย  I, the quirky founder and do-it-all at The Musical Hype scans through the Billboard Charts and picks out things that catch my eye. This column isnโ€™t extensive, but rather short and sweet.ย  This week, I picked out 7 notable observations from the Billboard 200 ๐Ÿ“‰, ย and 7 observations from the Billboard Hot 100 ๐Ÿ“‰, with ๐ŸŽ™ Adele remaining no. 1 on both charts.

Adele, 30 [๐Ÿ“ท: Melted Stone / Columbia]๐Ÿ’ญ After a robust first week, ๐ŸŽ™ Adele sees ๐Ÿ’ฟ 30 remain in the top spot on the Billboard 200.ย  According to Billboard, she still moved an impressive 288,000 units.

๐Ÿ’ญ Also for a second consecutive week, ๐ŸŽ™ Taylor Swift sits at no. 2 with ๐Ÿ’ฟ Red (Taylorโ€™s Version) in its third week on the charts.ย ย 

๐Ÿ’ญ one of the more popular holiday releases, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Christmas by ๐ŸŽ™ Michael Bublรฉ, ascends from no. 9 to no. 1 this week in its 96th week on the Billboard 200.ย  Also getting some top-10 holiday love is ๐Ÿ’ฟ A Charlie Brown Christmas (Soundtrack).

๐Ÿ’ญ ๐ŸŽ™ Anuel AA earns the highest debut on the Billboard 200 at no. 30 with ๐Ÿ’ฟ Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren.

๐Ÿ’ญ ๐ŸŽ™ Tony Bennett and ๐ŸŽ™ Lady Gaga re-enter the charts at no. 65 with their jazz duets album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Love for Sale, following their CBS special.

๐Ÿ’ญ Following its October 15, 2021, release ๐ŸŽ™ Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit see their Georgia-related covers album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Georgia Blue, debut on the charts at no. 83.

๐Ÿ’ญ ๐ŸŽ™ Norah Jones debuts at no. 156 with her holiday album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ I Dream of Christmas.
