16. J. Holiday, “After We F*ck”

[Guilty Conscience, 2014]

Basically, after J. Holiday has sex with her the first time, he’s going to do it again.  This is by no means a romantic song – J. Holiday is all about business…explicit business.

17. The Pretty Reckless, “F*cked Up World”

[Going to Hell, 2014]

The Pretty Reckless is pretty unapologetic with its song title, but don’t they have a point?

“It’s a f*cked up world, what do you get? /Sex and love and guns, light a cigarette.”

18. Die Antwoord, “Happy Go Sucky F*cky”

[Donker Mag, 2014]

The title of Die Antwoord’s song suggests, um, perversion? Actually, it’s not. “Happy Go Sucky F*cky” is the classic example of song employing shock value to an extent, but isn’t quite as risqué as you think.

“I’ll freak you the f*ck out / cause I choose to be free / f*ck your rules.”

Basically, Die Antwoord don’t like to play by anybody’s rules.

19. Buckcherry, “Say F*ck It”

[F*ck EP, 2014]

Buckcherry enjoys the f-bomb so much they dedicated an entire EP to it.  “Say F*ck It” is just one of six songs that artistically uses the obscenity.

20. Jeezy ft. August Alsina, “F*ck The World”

[Seen It All – The Autobiography, 2014]

Jeezy and August Alsina, much like The Pretty Reckless, have strong words towards the world.  Despite being anti-world, both find solace in “a beautiful girl.”

“When these streets is all you know / it’s hard to tell who’s a friend or a foe / all I need is a beautiful girl / so me and her, can f*ck the world.” Naturally, f*ck is also referencing “the do.”

21. Skrillex, “F*ck That”

[Recess, 2014]

There are only two key lyrics throughout the course of “F*ck That.” (1) “F*ck that” and (2) “F*ck that beat up.”

22. Lana Del Rey, “F*cked My Way Up to the Top”

[Ultraviolence, 2014]

“F*cked My Way Up to the Top” is by far Lana Del Rey’s most controversial song.  On Starpulse, “F*cked My Way Up to the Top” made two separate playlists: 10 Songs That Raise Eyebrows (no. 1) and To Put It Bluntly – 12 Songs With No Filter (no. 7).  Leaving nothing to the imagination, Del Rey apparently did what she asserts in the title.

23. Iggy Azalea, “F*ck Love”

[The New Classic, 2014]

Iggy Azalea doesn’t want love – she wants “diamonds.”

“F*ck love, give me diamonds.”

Azalea goes on to say,

“I’m already in love with myself / so in love with myself.”

Whatever works Iggy.  Check out The Musical Hype review of The New Classic, here.

24. August Alsina ft. Pusha T, “FML”

[Testimony, 2014]

“Let me tell you ‘bout myself, I’m not scared to die / Been through so much shit, sometimes I wanna be in the sky.”

Sigh, listening to Alsina’s “FML,” it’s clear the bro has been through some things.  You can read The Musical Hype review of Alsina’s debut album, Testimony, here.

25. Mike Stud, “F*ck That”

[Relief, 2013]

Mike Stud “keeps it 100” when he’s rapping, or so he says.

“They told me feel what you say / and say what you feel / being fake up in these songs / that was never the deal / so f*ck that / motherf*cker f*ck that.”
