🎧 13 Eye Popping, Ear Catching Naked Songs features A$AP Ferg, Britney Spears, Ella Mai, Knox Fortune, Marques Houston & X Ambassadors.
“I’m thinkin’ how that body look NAKED when you layin’ on the bed / Teacher, please, don’t make me stand up…” Woo! That spicy, pubescent, adolescent lyric comes courtesy of one of my favorite 🎙 J. Cole songs, 🎵 “Wet Dreamz” – 💿 2014 Forest Hills Drive, baby! The key word, of course, is naked, defined simply by 📚 Merriam-Webster as not covered by clothing. Whoomp! There It Is!
🎧 13 Eye Popping, Ear Catching Naked Songs features 13 songs that are naked, period. Well, they’re not actually nude but they incorporate nudity… Okay, this introduction is going so well! So, “It’s gettin’ hot in here (So hot) / So, take off all your clothes” (or NOT… probably NOT) and check out this bare, unclothed compendium!
1. Jonas Blue & MAX, “Naked”
🎵 “Naked” • 🏷 A Positiva / Virgin • 📅 2020
“Hourglass shape for a figure / Silhouette send me off like a trigger / Goddamn, I’m the man when I’m with her, yeah.” Sigh, 🎙 Jonas Blue and 🎙 MAX assemble a superb pop song in 🎵 “Naked”, which is sensually charged and suggestive, yet never crosses the line. The most offensive thing said is the aforementioned ‘goddamn’ by MAX, who never even utters the word sex! Besides delivering perfect sexual innuendo, “Naked” shines thanks to great production (Blue), awesome vocals (MAX), and catchy, relatable songwriting.
The centerpiece, of course is the infectious, irresistible, sexy chorus:
“You only say you love me when we’re naked When you’re bangin’ on my bedroom door You only say you love me when you want me and we’re naked When you’re layin’ on my bathroom floor, oh When we do it, feel so good I don’t stop you when I should Do we go? We go so hard Almost let you break my heart You only say you love me when we’re naked When you’re bangin’ on my bedroom door, oh.”

2. Tove Lo, “Bikini Porn”
🎵 “Bikini Porn” • 🏷 Universal Music • 📅 2020
“Uh-uh, I’m on bikini porn / Uh-uh, layin’ out in the sun / Oh, I got those marks on my body…” Say what? 🎙 Tove Lo has a knack for naughty alternative pop music – understatement. 🎵 “Bikini Porn” is yet another naughty, certified bop from the Swedish standout. What makes “Bikini Porn” sweet is the fact that she serves up a balance of being carefree and in a happy place with the naughty, risqué edge we’ve become accustomed to hearing from her.
The chorus is a prime example of the jubilation she exhibits, with some sexual references thrown in, of course:
“All I do is drink champagne all day, all day, all day And I dance around my room naked, oh yeah, naked Skinny dippin’ in the pool with me, with me, with me Take a day from your life all day, one day, today.”
Sure, she ‘gets down and dirty,’ but at the same time, the last line is all about enjoying life without limitations. That’s the bigger point, as opposed to bikini porn itself, even though one has to shake their head when Tove Lo sings, “Uh-uh, I’m on bikini porn / Uh-uh, now my bikini’s gone.” Besides the edgy lyrics, another selling point is the production (🎛 A Strut, 🎛 Jack & Coke, and 🎛 FINNEAS). The record begins minimalist, but eventually evolves to include pads, synths, and some cool vocal effects. Be like Tove Lo: be happy, and enjoy life without limitations, and take the bikini off!

3. A$AP Ferg, “Butt Naked”
Ft. Rico Nasty
💿 Floor Seats • 🏷 RCA • 📅 2019
“Coo-coo!” Yes, that can only be one rapper – my man, 🎙 A$AP Ferg! Always entertaining, the biggest draw on his 2019 project, 💿 Floor Seats is 🎵 “Floor Seats”, which samples the controversial 🎙 The Prodigy song, 🎵 “Smack My Bitch Up”. Still, Floor Seats also brings the heat with the nude banger 🎵 “Butt Naked,” produced by 🎛 Tweek Tune and featuring 🎙 Rico Nasty. I mention Tweek Tune because, man, oh, man, this backdrop is quirky and unexpected, yet totally kicks some serious, naked… BUTT.
Given the name of the song, it’s not surprising that A$AP Ferg drops some sexual bars. A prime example is on the second verse:
“She got the mean glutes I put her right on my coupe We don’t make it to the room Attached to the ass I’m like glue.”
Wow, the man is horny AF! It isn’t all about getting butt naked though. Ferg throws in some drip for good measure. As for Rico Nasty, well, she’s confident in her own right. Also, unapologetic of course, easily matching the energy brought by Ferg. Among her best lines: “They flashin’ they titties I’m on the stage / They give me lemons, made lemonade.” Woo!
4. Ella Mai, “Naked”
Ella Mai • 10 Summers / Interscope • 2018
“Are you ready to fight just to see what’s lost behind my flaws? / Can you love me naked?” Sometimes, associations can be extremely loose. That’s the case with 🎵 “Naked,” the closing bonus track that appears on 💿 Ella Mai, the debut studio album by 🎙 Ella Mai. Here, Mai isn’t really referencing physical nudity, which we often associated with nighttime. I mean, it’s not far-fetched, speaking from the male perspective, to ditch the shirt and strip down to the undies come bedtime, among other enjoyable happenings. But again, Ella Mai is talking about love beyond imperfections – revealing her flaws and her man loving her beyond them.
Ultimately, “Naked” is an easy-going, soulful, and super-smooth contemporary R&B gem. Sure, Ella Mai is stacked with more high-profile hits such as the 🏆 Grammy-winning 🎵 “Boo’d Up”, 🎵 “Trip”, and 🎵 “Shot Clock”, but that doesn’t keep “Naked” from being a heavy hitter itself. Here, Mai sings expressively without ever having to break a sweat. Her runs are smooth, while even her profane, feisty statements feel natural and never forced.

5. Davis Mallory, “Shirtless”
🎵 “Shirtless” • 🏷 Lionboy • 📅 2019
“So, like a tall glass of water / Got me thirsty / Can’t take my eyes off of ya / when you’re shirtless, when you’re shirtless…” As the saying goes, “If you got it, flaunt it.” No, I’m not a fan of cocky guys, let alone those godawful, hedonistic, fuckboys. That said, like 🎙 Davis Mallory on 🎵 “Shirtless,” I can appreciate legitimate eye candy that’s being served up. In this case, that eye candy is quite decadent from Mallory’s perspective. He appreciates the confidence of the hotties, definitely the view, and how that view makes him feel, if you catch my drift. A proud member of the LGBTQ+, let me remind you that the singer, songwriter, and DJ previously appeared on The Real World: Denver and The Challenge.
As expected, “Shirtless” features slick production work, courtesy of 🎛 Joakim Buddee, who writes alongside Mallory. The sound of the record is fittingly bright, energetic, and enthusiastic. Regardless of sexual preference, think about how you feel when you see someone who’s fine as hell… That’s what “Shirtless” encapsulates. The lyrics are ‘over the top’ and dramatic, yet, when you think about it, we’re all ‘over the top,’ dramatic, and extra when it comes to crushes, fantasies, and such. Sure, it’s not the most poetic record, but there are some memorable moments lyrically including “All of your muscles and your veins / Oh, they’re driving me insane / Raise my hands and singing praise / Thanking God for what he made / And the sun’s out / And your guns out.” Jesus!

6. Kesha, “Birthday Suit”
💿 High Road • 🏷 Kemosabe • 📅 2020
“You like the way I drive, vroom, vroom, vroom / I shake my booty like boom, boom, boom / You never met a girl like this before…” Hmm, I’m sensing some sexual innuendo here, 🎙 Kesha. The 🏆 Grammy-nominated pop star goes all out ‘nude’ on 🎵 “Birthday Suit,” the 🎛 Stuart Crichton-produced standout from her fourth studio album, 💿 High Road.
On “Birthday Suit,” Kesha raps in tongue-in-cheek fashion. As aforementioned, she drops that sexual innuendo like no other.
“I know we’re both thinking I wanna get you in your birthday suit Who’s gonna be the first to make the move?”
Those lyrics hail from the infectious chorus. It continues as follows: “You got any secret tattoos? / Ooh, goddamn, baby / Ooh, goddamn.” The response, of course, is that Kesha wants to see this hottie naked in her bed. You can imagine what she has planned…

7. Marques Houston, “Naked”
💿 Naked • 🏷 Silent Partner Entertainment • 📅 2005
“Ain’t never been a man wantin’ anything as much as I want you.” Now that’s some G-A-M-E right there! For whatever reason, the 2005 album 💿 Naked is hard to come by these days, absent from streaming and digital services (as of publication). Strange, considering the availability of other 🎙 Marques Houston projects. One of the key songs from the hunky R&B singer’s career appears on the album. Can you guess what it is, haha!
🎵 “Naked” in the hand of MH is sexy AF. I mean, Marques Houston was ripped back in the day – definition of a sex symbol. Of course, you don’t merely listen to a song because of a singer’s looks. Houston can sing superbly, with an immense gift of falsetto. On “Naked” that falsetto is ripe to the nth degree – downright sinful! Clearly, he’s trying to entice her throughout the song, encouraging serious play: “Girl we ain’t gotta rush, let’s play around / We’ll do it like we never done before.” Day-um! Of course, it’s all capped off by the chorus, in all its titillating, nude glory!
“Come on, baby, turn the lights off, let’s get naked Come on, baby girl, you know I just can’t take it Let your panties hit the floor Let your body steal the show right now It seems like you’re ready So, come on, girl I just can’t wait to see us naked Us naked, yeah.”
8. DNCE, “Naked”
💿 DNCE • 🏷 Republic • 📅 2016
“I wanna be naked with you / With no lights on, just the moon.” Hmm, 🎙 Joe Jonas, I can only imagine what will go down when you and her strip your clothes off. Actually, I have a pretty good idea, judging by the likes of other sensual numbers from DNCE and their 2016 self-titled, debut studio album (🎵 “Cake By the Ocean” and 🎵 “Body Moves” come to mind).
Finishing that chorus from 🎵 “Naked”:
“I wanna be naked with you We’ll leave our clothes on the floor, put a sock on the door I wanna be naked with you At least I’m tellin’ the truth ...We’ll leave our drama outside, bring your body to mine.”
With the focus on the bedroom, Jonas doesn’t hold back the desires of his nether, that’s for sure. Perhaps it’s shallow, but “Naked” is honest and infectious. Can Jonas really help if “This clothing, this clothing is turning into torture / Got one thing left on my brain?” Well, he can help it, but I’m sure he’d blame it on being a male, lol.
9. Knox Fortune, “Shirtless”
💿 Stock Child Wonder • 🏷 Knox Fortune + Nice Work • 📅 2020
“Yeah, my skins stuck to the leather / Of the seats inside your Volvo / It was purple like an orchid / It’s so hot. I took my shirt off.” Shirtless 🎙 Knox Fortune? We #Stan! Okay, silliness aside, on 🎵 “Shirtless,” the alternative musician delivers an intriguing record. Arriving near the end of his 2020 album, 💿 Stock Child Wonder, his ‘lack of a shirt’ is only part of the song’s narrative. To be honest, he only mentions his shirtless-ness once, much to our chagrin… well, it’s not a bit deal, ultimately.
“Shirtless” is more reflective and reminiscent than anything else. Also, it’s quite a vibe with the colorful production and Fortune’s distinct vocals. “Seen the horns and seen the halos / Seen the storms turn into rainbows,” he sings poetically on the second verse. On the third, the word play is scintillating, referencing old-school cell phones and totally going to somewhere totally different:
“Back when phones were Motorola’s Yeah, I was razor sharp, raise a shark Getting down in Lindberg Park I was waiting for you, but you didn’t show up Walked home ‘cause I felt I had to throw up.”
Maybe it’s disappointing to those who expected to be titillated like Davis Mallory’s “Shirtless”, but ultimately, “Shirtless” in the hands of Knox Fortune – SEXY!
10. Zak Abel, “Only When We’re Naked”
💿 Only When We’re Naked • 🏷 Atlantic UK • 📅 2017
“So, intoxicating, when we make love / Only when we’re naked, can we be one.” Woo, British pop artist 🎙 Zak Abel arouses and titillates on 🎵 “Only When We’re Naked.” Fittingly, his 2017 debut album is also titled 💿 Only When We’re Naked. Worth noting, Abel would later stimulate us with more pleasure – or at least a heaping dose of innuendo – on single, 🎵 “You Come First”. But, for our purposes, we focus merely on the nudity – addressing that nakedness!
“I wanna see the side of you You don’t reveal Love me at your loudest Let me see your wildest.”
“Only When We’re Naked” commences with a piano patch, which, in the context of Only When We’re Naked, marks a change of pace. The biting vocals by Zak are celestial. The nudity inspires the chorus, which is simple, but rousing and effective.
“Only when we’re naked Like we were created Only when we’re naked Can we be one tonight, just you and I.”
Sure, Abel is being sexual, but he also treats nakedness metaphorically, suggesting making a deeper connection with the person he loves. Some other notes. “Naked” makes fine use of backing vocals and horns, giving the chorus and song a lift. Another notable moment are the rhythmic, hip-hop vocals on the bridge (“Wanna be naked, I wanna be naked with you (woohoo)”). I bet you do, Zak, I bet you do!
11. Britney Spears, “Get Naked (I Got a Plan)”
💿 Blackout • 🏷 Zomba Recording Inc. • 📅 2007
“I got a plan / We can do it just where you want it baby, baby, baby.” Three words: “It’s Britney, bitch!” Those three words from 🎙 Britney Spears appears on 🎵 “Gimme More” the opener from her 2007 studio album, Blackout. The song at hand where the aforementioned chorus lyrics are excerpted, appear is the sensual sixth track, 🎵 “Get Naked (I Got a Plan).” Interestingly, it’s 🎙 Corte Ellis that performs the core part of the chorus.
As expected, Britney Spears is sexed-up to the nth degree on “Get Naked (I Got a Plan).” Over the sleek, synth- and drum-programming-laden production of 🎛 Danja, she incites sheer pleasure. “Maybe I’m a freak and I don’t really give a damn,” she asserts on the first verse. On the pre-chorus, she asks, “What I gotta do to get you to want my body?” before stating, “Quarter past three, I’m ready to leave the party.” Of course, the plan, is suggested on the chorus, while clarified on the post-chorus, which is performed by Spears: “Get naked, get naked…” There’s aa second verse by Spears, as well as a sexy response by Ellis, but the script is straightforward and literally screams S-E-X.
12. Marc Almond, “The Exhibitionist”
💿 Varieté • 🏷 Cherry Red • 📅 2010
“You’re the narcissist / An exhibitionist / You always understood / Ordinary is bad / Strange is good.” 🎙 Marc Almond perfectly tackles exhibitionism on “The Exhibitionist,” which appears on his 2010 album, 💿 Varieté. Psychology Today describes exhibitionism as “…a condition marked by the urge, fantasy, or behavior of exposing one’s genitals to non-consenting people, particularly strangers.” Woo!
Almond captures public nudity explicitly on “The Exhibitionist.” He describes such a nonconformist person perfectly.
“Stand naked to the public A nude epiphany You’re inter-sex and outer-sex Extreme androgyny So, come all you fabulous monsters And all you glamorous freaks Total exhibitionism is the Nature of the beast.”

13. X Ambassadors, “Naked”
💿 VHS • 🏷 KIDinaKORNER / Interscope • 📅 2015
“From my head to my toes / Feeling overexposed.” Yeah, that’s DEFINITELY how I feel in the buff – quite revealing, 🎙 X Ambassadors. Being the 🎵 “Renegades” that they are, they get completely 🎵 “Naked” on this number from their 2015 debut album, 💿 VHS. “I wanna be naked with you,” 🎙 Sam Harris continues singing on the chorus, adding, “All my faults, all your scars / Who I am, who you are / I wanna be, oh, naked with you, naked with you.”
Okay, okay! Wait a minute – hold up! “Naked” in the hands of Harris and X Ambassadors doesn’t sound so sexual, now does it? Well, I suppose I failed to highlight the lyrics of the first verse, where it’s clear that the nudity hits different.
“I ain’t no Ken and you ain’t no Barbie Ain’t none of my friends have a perfect body ...Baby, if we let it all go, go Baby, we could break the mold, mold Not afraid to show...”
The actual nudity will probably happen in a committed relationship, but clearly, Sam Harris emphasizes a naked emotional connection, hence, strengthening the bond. Of course, he does so with a bright, electrifying palette of sounds FTW (Shout out 🎛 Alex da Kid).
