Ah, the f-bomb, otherwise known as fuck, and its various forms are considered to be among the obscenity of obscenities.  You can’t say it on television, yet the kids love to let ‘em fly. Not only do the kids love the power of this explicit word, but so do the musicians.  That’s right, these days, the bombs are everywhere, just ready to explode like boom 💥! It’s even more dramatic when they appear in the song title.

13 More Eyebrow Raising, F🤬🤬🤴 Songs is far from the first time The Musical Hype has dove into for under consent of the king.  This latest musical compendium is the follow-up to 12 Eyebrow Raising, F🤬🤬🤴 Songs (2023). 13 More Eyebrow Raising, F🤬🤬🤴 Songs features songs by Benedict Cork, Bentley Robles, FINNEAS, John Duff, Nicki Minaj, and Yeat. Continuing to plagiarize myself, if the f-bombs 💣  aren’t your thing, well, perhaps you should take your virgin ears and eyes elsewhere because this list right here is f🤬🤬🤴 explicit/NSFW 😈 😈 😈.

1.FINNEAS, “Starfucker”

For Cryin’ Out Loud!// OYOY, Inc. / Interscope // 2024

FINNEAS, For Cryin' Out Loud! [📷: OYOY, Inc. / Interscope]FINNEAS (Finneas O’Connell) commences his 2024 album, For Cryin’ Out Loud! with a bang. “You starfucker, I loved you / Against my better judgment,” he sings in the chorus of “Starfucker”.  He continues singing, “In the evening, when you’re leaving / Your promises have lost their meaning / I was yours before you were cool.” Word.  The Academy and Grammy-Award-winning musician solely penned and produced “Starfucker.” It catches the ears for several reasons.  Reason number one: the song title. Any time an f-bomb is involved, the ears perk up. With “Starfucker” being the title, as well as appearing in each of the choruses, you can’t miss it. Also, for good measure, the potty-mouthed musician drops the bomb in the second verse:  “Cross the names off a list / Cartier around your wrist / I was such an optimist / But you’re a fucking narcissist.” Oh, snap! That fucking is added for emphasis! What’s FINNEAS’ point? This person whom he sings about, and we assume was attached to, intentionally sought sex and associations with stars or celebrities, including him. He legitimately liked her, but she was faking it for bragging rights and clout.  Sad.  FINNEAS sounds amazing despite his disappointment and disgust with this lowly starfucker.  The instrumental accompaniment is sweet, including piano, expressive strings, guitar, bass, and drums. “Starfucker” is a marvelous song by FINNEAS who somehow manages to be painfully underrated as a solo artist.

2. Nicki Minaj, “FTCU”

Pink Friday 2 // Republic // 2023

Nicki Minaj, Pink Friday 2 (Gag City Deluxe) [📷: Republic]“Come on, bitch, I just put a milli’ on my Richie / Minus like fifty, mine was nine-fifty, sissy.” Oh, shit! You don’t have to rack your brain too much to figure out what the acronym FTCU stands for – unless you are/were sheltered or live/lived under a rock.  Because we’re not judging your naivety, we’ll break it down: FUCK THE CLUB UP, PERIOD!!! That is exactly what Grammy-nominated rapper Nicki Minaj does on “FTCU,” the third track from her fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2. ATL Jacob and Southside produced “FTCU,” which features minimalist musical accompaniment with a hard-nosed beat and a repetitive synth. A superb vocal sample, “Fuck the Club Up” by Waka Flock Flame, sets the tone for Minaj. She lives up to the unapologetic title by delivering aggressive, unapologetic rhymes.  “I leave these bitches on read, so now they know that they blew it,” she bites in the first verse, adding, “I give these bitches the crown, they fuck around and lose it, nah / I am the wave, I only wave when I’m tellin’ ‘em bye.” In the second verse, she touts the drip – “Yeah, high heels on my tippies / Dolce & Gabbana, that’s on my titties” – and memorably spits, “Stay in your Tory lane, bitch, I’m not Iggy.” Oh, the shade, the shade, the shade. Ultimately, “FTCU” is a fucking banger, NO CAP!

3. Yeat, “STFU”

LYFESTYLE // Field Trip Recordings / UMG Recordings, Inc. // 2024

Yeat, LYFESTYLE [📷: Field Trip Recordings / UMG Recordings, Inc.]“I only need one person, bitch, myself.” Word, Yeat. “STFU” is the second track from the rapper’s 2024 album, LYFESTYLE. Yeat keeps things hella brief – under two minutes! A 2 Low Key sample, “Test My Nutz”, appears at the beginning of “STFU” setting the tone.  Following the 2 Low Key intro, Yeat ‘dives in’ with melodic, syrupy, higher-pitched vocals in the chorus. There are plenty of vocal effects in play.

“We was outside with the rag, like the Taliban

‘Shut your mouth, shut the fuck up,’ I keep tellin’ ‘em

‘Shut the fuck up,’ I keep tellin’ ‘em

‘Shut the fuck up,’ I keep tellin’ ‘em.”

After the chorus, Yeat continues to spit in the same manner, keep the rhymes repetitive and simplistic. “It’s a geek party, so we geekin’ all night,” he raps, adding lyrics like “Seen ‘em turn on they own gang, own guys,” and “ Grindin’ your fuckin’ gears up like rail / Blind to your fuckin’ broke shit like braille.” Eventually, during the sole verse, Yeat’s vocals lower in pitch, sounding more natural. Still, that high-pitched chorus returns, in all its syrupy-ness.

4. Chlöe, “FYS”

Trouble in Paradise // Parkwood Entertainment LLC / Columbia // 2024

Chlöe, Trouble In Paradise [📷: Parkwood Entertainment LLC / Columbia]“FYS” is a single and the 12th track from Trouble in Paradise, the sophomore album by Chlöe (Chlöe Bailey). Adorned with a parental advisory explicit lyrics sticker, it should come as no surprise what the ‘F’ stands for in the song title… Fuck. As for the rest of the title, it’s your status, so, “Fuck Your Status” is what Chlöe is serving up.  She penned this explicit number alongside producer, Bongo. Additionally, she and Bongo produce with Go Grizzly and Cashmere Brown. “FYS” is a sex song. In the first verse, she sings, “Feels so good like that (Like that) / When you hit it right like that.” Woo! She adds, “I know that you in love with the cat.” Meow… In the second verse, she remains naughty, asserting, “Make it so wet like a wave / I’ma make you feel that type of way / Countdown to the high / Climax of your life / Rain down, while you let me ride, let me ride…” Damn! Ultimately, she’s so into this dude, and having sex with this dude, in the chorus, she’s like, “Fuck your status, it don’t matter / Money, cars, and the diamonds / Don’t faze me, I been had it.” All told, Bailey sings well on this sexy, contemporary R&B joint.  The backdrop matches the sexual nature of the lyrics – slower tempo, indulgent, lush synths, and smooth vibes. “FYS” won’t change your life, but if you need a sex song to put you in the mood, you should indulge.

5. John Duff, “Forgotten How to F*ck”

“Forgotten How to F*ck” // Donald Duff // 2024

John Duff, Forgotten How to F*ck [📷: Donald Duff]“It’s been so long since I got some / Soon as you call, I’ll probably come.”  Something tells me, John Duff could’ve spelled the word come differently, given the context… He continues singing in the chorus of his bold, sexed-up song, “Forgotten How to F*ck”, “Dreaming of your touch without a glove / I think I’ve forgotten how to fuck.” Honesty is the best policy.  Incorporating a big band into the mix gives the song a refreshing, retro sensibility. Because he hasn’t had sex in so long, Duff has forgotten how it works.  He uses Biblical/spiritual references throughout, believe it or not.  “Born again, baby / Born again and going crazy.” He adds, “40 days and 40 nights / Seems like they just flew right by / Am I saved? / Or just depraved?”  The lyrics play on abstinence and celibacy associated with Christianity, etc.  Still, he’s not quite Saint Peter: “Stay rock hard / Like Rock Hudson / Long for some lovin’, touchin’, squeezin’ / No hidden meaning.” Perhaps there is no hidden meaning but, Rock Hudson, one of the actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood, was gay, and died of AIDS at age 59.  Other intriguing lyrical moments include, “I’m not politically correct / But I’m literally erect / Just thinking about last season / When it was you and me.” The sexual innuendo is ripe AF on “Forgotten How to F*ck” and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The dashing John Duff and his team of producers (Koil PreAmple, Niko The Kid, and Eren Cannata) drop a hot 🥵 retro-pop bop.

6. Juicy J, “Fucked Up Era”

Ravenite Social Club // Trippy Music LLC / Stem // 2024

Juicy J, Ravenite Social Club [📷: Trippy Music LLC / Stem]“Life livin’ in a fucked-up era.” Word. “Fucked Up Era” is the sixth track on the second disc of Ravenite Social Club, the 2024 album by Academy Award-winning Memphis, Tennessee rapper Juicy J (Jordan Houston).  It’s still unbelievable that Three-6 Mafia won an Oscar, isn’t it? “Fucked Up Era” features a soulful, classy backdrop. Houston composed and produced the brief track. Houston delivers tough-minded, unapologetic real talk by Juicy J – he keeps it a buck. “We all died in 1999,” he asserts in the sole verse, adding, “This is hell – don’t know why you think you still alive / Seen empires fall over foolish pride / The way I’m on this money shit, it’s givin’ Buffet vibes.” Ooh-wee! Another memorable line from Houston:

“Tryna get one-up on me? Uh! You must be extra-high

Once the situation dead, I don’t ever rectify

These niggas don’t ride these days – wonder why

Send you up to meet yo’ dead homies – tell ‘em I said, ‘Hi.’”

The chorus, excerpted at the top, is catchy, repeated f-bombs and all.  It might be a fucked-up era but Juicy J makes it a captivating, entertaining one.

7. ¥$, Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, “FUK SUMN”

VULTURES 1 // YZY // 2024

¥$, Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures 1 [📷: YZY]“I’m tryna fuck somethin’ right now / That lil’ ho, she tryna fuck somethin’ right now.” Such classy, deep lyrics, Ty Dolla $ign.  Of course, the title, “FUK SUMN”, reveals the cards of ¥$, Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign. The carnal “FUK SUMN” is the 10th track on VULTURES 1.  Notably, it’s not just Dolla $ign and Ye tryna fuck somethin’Playboi Carti and Travis Scott (as La Flame 😏) get in on the fucking action. Many cooks are in the kitchen behind the boards, including West, Timbaland, and JPEGMAFIA. This freaky deeky sex track was expensive! Following Ty Dolla’s honorable chorus, Playboi Carti gets to work on the post-chorus and first verse.  “Shawty wanna fuck? Whoa / I’ma let her hop on somethin’.” She’s horny and he’s willing to oblige.  In the first verse, he adds some drip to the sex, including a G6 and an “all-black Brabus truck.” After Ty blesses us again with the chorus, West performs the bridge and second verse.  Three lyrics stand out.  First, “Even Jesus ain’t marry a virgin” assumes Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus… Second, West isn’t judging her past, asserting, “I don’t care who you fucked, you a virgin to me.” And third, “Fuck on me, suck on me publicly.” That happened, much to everybody’s dismay. Of course, La Flame (Travis Scott) introduces himself in an interlude and drops the third verse. He drops the gem, “Brown skin, but you know I had her creamin’ / Janet Jackson by the way I had her screamin’.” I don’t believe that the Michael Jackson / Janet Jackson collaboration was about an orgasm, though. Anyways, “FUK SUMN” is something else.

8. Benedict Cork, “Until We F*** It Up”

Notes On A Hopeless Romance // Benedict Cork // 2024

Benedict Cork, Notes on a Hopeless Romance [📷: Benedict Cork]“If you take caution like a gun, pull the trigger and run like hell / Throw your troubles to the dust ‘cause it’s us against the world.” Matters of the heart are firmly planted in “Until We F*** It Up”. Firmly planted might be an understatement! “Until We F*** It Up” is the eighth track from Notes On A Hopeless Romance, the debut album by the handsome 😍 and talented English singer/songwriter Benedict Cork. Cork and Dane Etteridge wrote and produced “Until We F*** It Up.”

“So, give into the fire and cover me in gasoline / Then drink me in like holy wine, I’ll wash away your sins.” Oh, snap! We see you, Benedict with the spiritual references! “Until We F*** It Up” commences with lovely piano accompaniment.  The sound is warm and inviting. Cork delivers gorgeous and sincere vocals.  The lyrics are dramatic, poetic, and thoughtful. Interestingly, the lyrics generally are more refined than the bold title.  Cork’s vocals are more dramatic and powerful in the chorus, where the highly anticipated f-bomb and negative connotative phrase arrive: “You know it’s only love until we fuck it up.” “Until” makes nice use of harmonized background vocals during the pre-chorus (“…If you want it, take everything / It won’t mean a thing when I’m gone”). The second chorus features additional instrumentation – strings and stunning vocal harmonies. It grows even more dynamic towards the end with the bridge (“All the crazy shit that you went and did / I’ll pretend it doesn’t hurt”) and the final chorus.  Benedict Cork gives his all on the marvelous “Until We F*** It Up”.

9. Bentley Robles, “God Is A Fuckboy”

UGLY CRIER (DELUXE) // Bentley Robles Music // 2024

Bentley Robles, UGLY CRIER (DELUXE) [📷: Bentley Robles Music]Matters of the heart can fuck you up, badly, particularly at the hands of a fuckboy. The term, albeit vulgar, elicits a worthwhile conversation regarding dating, however. In the case of fearless pop artist Bentley Robles (Bruno Pazzi Robles), an UGLY CRIER, love, or the illusion of love, has done a number on him, courtesy of fuckboys.  “My friends always say that I ruin new things cause of you,” he sings in the first verse of “GOD IS A FUCKBOY”, adding, “Spend all my time blaming myself / But I don’t really think it’s my fault / It’s just that I’m built like this / I’m clinically a romantic guy.” Fair enough. So, who’s to blame for you “cry-ing about boys that don’t deserve it?” The ultimate fuckboy – God, apparently 🫢. In the second track of UGLY CRIER (Deluxe), Robles has an epiphany – one considered blasphemous by some!

“I never thought much about him before this

But in this moment on one thing, I’m focused

If God led me straight to you

Then God must be a fuckboy too.”

Robles is boldly honest, which makes him captivating as a musical artist.  It doesn’t stop there. He adds, “I wish that someone could see / That the big guy is picking on me / Wish I could just send him a text like / ‘Daddy, just give it a rest’.” There’s also, “And they say, I can do all things in God but / He’s doing a really bad job, yeah / I don’t know why / He spends his time / Sending me so many bad guys.” Over the exuberant, synth-driven production (FLORIO), Robles states that He (aka God) “is a fuckboy” repeating it numerous times.  Associating God with fuckery take some stones. Robles, all told, delivers an ear-catching, PRIDE beaming, pop song.

10. Marcus King, “F*ck My Life Up Again”

Mood Swings // Marcus King / Republic // 2024

Marcus King, Mood Swings [📷: Marcus King / Republic]“F*ck My Life Up Again” may be profane, but Marcus King serves up a marvelous song from his 2024 album, Mood Swings.  Honest – brutally so – the Grammy-nominated musician penned this f-bomb gem alongside Dexter Wansel. Rick Rubin produces. The sounds are nothing short of… fucking awesome! It commences with an epic groove.  Furthermore, the electric piano serves as a perfect accompaniment.  If that’s not enough ear candy, what about the gorgeous strings, not to mention other touches that make this song a triumph. The instrumental backdrop is fabulous, but the star of the show is King.  His voice is distinct, expressive, and nuanced.  He sounds authentic to the nth degree.  The songwriting is terrific, and the melodies – sensational! “The problem’s always me / Just taking years for me to see,” he asserts in the second verse, adding, “You didn’t call again last night / Maybe I’m just not worth the fight.” The chorus is the section to beat. “Come fuck my life up again / Don’t deserve to live without pain,” King sings, continuing, “Destroy my confidence again  / Watch me lose control and feel the shame.” Ooh-wee! Highlighting the instrumental once more, there is a delicious guitar solo following the second chorus, performing over the lush backing vocals and dramatic strings.  Also, the outro marks another stupendous moment (“Hope you’ll never let me go through the years / Hope your madness starts to grow”). “F*ck My Life Up Again” is a surefire winner from start to finish.

11. HNTR ALLN, “DTF”

“DTF” // HNTR ALLN // 2024

HNTR ALLN, DTF [📷: HNTR ALLN]“Like a little slut / Rough me up / You can tell I’m down to…” On his 2024 debut single, “DTF”, HNTR ALLN (Hunter Allen) comes out swinging. Rather, he comes out sexing… or willing to 😈! There is no hiding in the closet! Allen is bold with his sexuality. After growing up in a conservative, Christian household, he’s broken free from myopic views and restrictions and embraced queerness.  “DTF” is sex-positive to the nth degree. The desire and lust are ‘turned TF up’: “Hugging you is like a poppers hit / Chemical the way I want your dick, daddy.”  Poppers and dick? That’s so gay 🏳️‍🌈 😈. The lyrics are brutally honest, and that’s the biggest selling point of “DTF.” Backtracking before the poppers and D, “How’s it going? Fuck, you’re crazy hot / Took your shirt off for a dollar off baby.” Ooh-wee! After getting him to show off his banging body, he raises the temperature: “I can tell you’re really into me / Staring at me like a piece of meat eat me / Wanna taste the sugar / Dripping from your dirty tongue.” Fucking hot 🥵 😮‍💨 😈! HNTR paints a vivid portrait that leads to the crème de la crème, admitting, “You can tell I’m down to fuck.” Not only are the lyrics ‘fierce,’ Allen sings them like a champ.  He takes a playful approach in this liberating, hyper-sexual banger. His tone is marvelous while his riffs and runs are celestial, even if his mindset is more hellish. The backdrop is ‘fierce’ too. The gay club is alive and well, soundtracked by sharp synths and a dance floor-ready beat.  From the beginning of “DTF”,  the tone is set and the sluttiness feels damn good. Infectious and naughty, “DTF” is the sugar honey iced tea – the soundtrack to freedom from the ultra-conservative, heteronormative, myopic world.

12. D’african, “I Fucking Lust You”

High Love You // Regency Square Entertainment // 2016

d'african, I Fucking Lust You [📷: Regency Square Entertainment]“Sipping and smoking, I feel amazing / Will feel even better when you are with me.” Uh-oh! D’african is already feeling good, but when the opportunity for sex ‘cums’ along, he’s going to feel ‘fucking’ awesome.  The puns are justified, particularly when the name of the song is “I Fucking Lust You”. D’african is transparent on this 2015 R&B gem that appeared on his 2016 album, High Love You.  Even pushing a decade-old, the longing for good, fulfilling sex, particularly when drunk and high, remains fresh and potent.

The first half of the song is tame.  Sure, D’african expresses his desires, but he’s more innocent than my description of what he’s ‘really’ saying.  The second half of the song, however, is nasty! Things get ultra-sexy with naughtier lyrics against that lush, sensual backdrop. Sure, he begins with merely “messing with your head” but we all know that the “fucking with all your senses” that follows signals ‘S Meets E and then they X.’  D’African’s lust is uncontrollable as he caresses, “that spot that unlocks your wetness.” 🤭 Oh, snap 🫰! It gets more X-rated though:

“So, I pin you against the dresser and fuck ‘til your legs weak and numb

‘Til you’re so wet, it runs down your legs as you cum

I lick it up with my tongue

I’m a freak when I’m drunk

I know I fuck you like I love you babe

That’s only when I’m drunk.”

Gah-day-um 🥵 😮‍💨! “I Fucking Lust You” is a surefire, sexed-the-fuck-up vibe.

13. Dead Kennedys, “Too Drunk to Fuck”

Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death // GoldState Music // 1987

Dead Kennedys, Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death [📷: GoldState Music]“I’m too drunk to fuck, you’re too drunk to fuck / Too drunk to fuck.” It feels appropriate to respond with, holy fuck! American punk rock band Dead Kennedys released an ‘inappropriate’ song entitled – wait for it –  “Too Drunk To Fuck”. “Too Drunk To Fuck” was released in 1981 as a single.  It ultimately appeared on the band’s compilation, Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death, in 1987.  While “Too Drunk” didn’t impact the charts in the US, it did achieve success in the UK, reaching number 36.  That’s surprising, considering it is a song that was banned.

Is there a legitimate message with “Too Drunk To Fuck” or was it all fuckery? Well, the fucking doesn’t happen. If you drink too much, and you plan to have sex, it can be difficult aka whiskey dick.  In this song, the party boy simply can’t get it up. In the first verse, Jello Biafra asserts, “I rank sixteen beers, and I started up a fight / But now I’m jaded, you’re out of luck / I’m rolling down the stars too drunk to fuck.”  The innuendo is ripe in the second verse, but ultimately, he doesn’t shoot out “loads and loads of fun.” That whiskey dick don’t play! In the third and final verse, Jello settles: “You give me head, it makes it worse / Take out your fuckin’ retainer, put it in your purse.” Speechless 😶. “Too Drunk To Fuck” is a piece of work.  Fast-paced, unapologetic punk, it’s a fucking good time, even if ‘good sex’ didn’t result.  Jello Biafra and Dead Kennedys were brutally honest about sexual abilities post-inebriation.
