1. Jordan Adetunji, โ€œToo Many Womenโ€ (Ft. kwn)

A Jaguarโ€™s Dream // 300 Entertainment // 2025

Jordan Adetunji, A Jaguarโ€™s Dream [๐Ÿ“ท: 300 Entertainment]โ€œBring your ass back to the crib, girl, you know that / We can go laps in the crib, alright.โ€ Oh, snap! Belfast singer Jordan Adetunji taps kwn for the assist in โ€œToo Many Womenโ€. The brief, sub-two-minute single is the second track from his 2025 album, A Jaguarโ€™s Dream. Adetunji produced alongside Take A Daytrip, 18YOMAN, and VillaBeatz. โ€œToo Many Womenโ€ samples โ€œBroke Bitchโ€ by Too $hort. โ€œAh, tryna do you in some Saint Laurent,โ€ Adetunji sings in the first verse, continuing, โ€œIn the mirror, watch you turn me on / You was ready for me all along, just walked into it.โ€ Word. The chorus, excerpted above, is the centerpiece.  There, Jordan continues singing, โ€œYour booty bounce match with the kick, girl, you know / Iโ€™ma give it to you, do you right, if you stay.โ€ Woo! In the post-chorus, he confirms heโ€™s a player because of โ€œToo many women.โ€ Kwn enters the mix in the second verse, keeping it a buck: โ€œShit, your ex-ni-nigga, your lilโ€™ ะตx-nigga coul-couldnโ€™t even take it home / I had you in this car for a minute and got you scratching backseats.โ€ Beyond the memorable vocals from Adetunji and kwn, the instrumental is lit.  The beat anchors, the synths are rich, and the vibe is lit. โ€œToo Many Womenโ€ is short but ultimately, pretty sweet!

2. Brooke Candy, โ€œNext Bitchโ€

SPIRAL  // Brooke Candy // 2024

Brooke Candy, SPIRAL [๐Ÿ“ท: Brooke Candy]โ€œTaste the rainbow ๐ŸŒˆ, take one bite / Bubblegum, yeah, pop tonight.โ€ Foโ€™ sho, Brooke Candy.  Give us more of those slick lyrics! โ€œSpecial taffy, pink and white / Cotton candy bed tonight.โ€ That is some sugary sweet sugar honey iced tea! Weโ€™d expect no less from Candy who is โ€œNext Bitchโ€! Thatโ€™s the name of her rainbow-bubblegum-taffy-cotton candied first single from her album, Spiral! That said, the lyrics from the bridge are much tamer than the more explicit, fiercer lyrics that appear on much of this brief but potent single.  Candyโ€™s confidence is โ€˜through the roofโ€™ on this Jon Santana-produced bop. Candy, Santana, and Liam Benayon penned this bitchinโ€™ joint. โ€œNext Bitchโ€ features electric musical accompaniment.  The rhythm is driving from the onset.  The synths are lit, and the anchoring beat goes hard.  The backdrop sets up Candy for success and indisputable fierceness. After characterizing her (who is nameless) as wack, in the intro, she asserts in the chorus, โ€œIโ€™m the next bitch / Iโ€™m infectious / Fuckinโ€™ reckless / You gonโ€™ bite this?โ€ Woo! Itโ€™s difficult to catch everything Candy spits in the first verse, but the overall takeaway is that this girl is bad! Not only is she bad enough to โ€œShave my head and then pierce my nips,โ€ she legitimately poses the question, โ€œHow many bitches get down like this?โ€ Sheโ€™s also a โ€˜bad bitchโ€™ when she sings, bragging, โ€œI, when I walk in the room / These bitches in the tomb / Miss Candy, if you pay me, pay me.โ€  What more needs to be said? The thirtysomething rapper/singer drops another one!

3. Kool & The Gang, โ€œLadies Nightโ€

Ladies Night // UMG Recordings, Inc. // 1979

Kool & The Gang, Ladies' Night [๐Ÿ“ท: UMG Recordings, Inc.]โ€œOh yes, itโ€™s ladies night / And the feelingโ€™s right / Oh yes, itโ€™s ladies night / Oh, what a night (Oh, what a night).โ€ Woo! โ€œLadies Nightโ€ commences Ladiesโ€™ Night, the 1979 platinum-certified album by the beloved funk collective, Kool & The Gang. Kool & The Gang and George Brown penned โ€œLadies Night.โ€ Brazilian composer, arranger, keyboardist, and record producer Eumir Deodato produced it.  One of the biggest hits by the band, it earns its spot among their 12 top 10 hits.  It peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.  It was certified gold by the RIAA. What makes โ€œLadies Nightโ€ โ€˜the sugar honey iced tea?โ€™ Itโ€™s vibe heaven!

โ€œGirls, yโ€™all got the one (What?) / A night thatโ€™s special everywhere,โ€ James โ€œJ.T.โ€ Taylor sings energetically in the first verse, continuing, โ€œFrom New York to Hollywood / Itโ€™s ladiesโ€™ night, and girl the feelingโ€™s good.โ€ Word! The lyrics are simple โ€“ not profound or transcendent.  In the second verse, Taylor characterizes her as romantic, single, sophisticated, and a โ€œdisco lady.โ€ Importantly, he sings, โ€œYeah, stay with me tonight, mama.โ€ Ooh-la-la! In the third and final verse, he asserts, โ€œThis is your night, baby / Youโ€™ve got to be there, well.โ€ The chorus, excerpted earlier, is the section to beat. Regardless of the straightforward, uncomplicated lyrics, this joint funks hard, no cap. The rhythm section is locked in, delivering a sickening, danceable groove, terrific rhythm guitar riffs, sweet keys, and an anchoring, robust bass line.  Beyond the rhythm section, the horns provide a mean bite, further inciting hitting the dancefloor.  The musical underpinnings (harmonic progression) also earn โ€œLadies Nightโ€ high marks, namely in the contrasting bridge section.  Even when the song vamps, it vamps hard โ€“ funky to the nth degree.

4. Summer Walker, โ€œHeart Of A Womanโ€

โ€œHeart Of A Womanโ€ // LVRN / Interscope // 2024

Summer Walker, Heart Of A Woman [๐Ÿ“ท: LVRN / Interscope]In the gospel according to Summer Walker, the โ€œOnly thing thatโ€™s saving you / Is the heart of a woman.โ€ โ€œHeart Of A Womanโ€ is the promo single from Walkerโ€™s third studio album, Finally Over It.  Walker and Don Dias penned this R&B cut incorporating the cool, classic โ€˜urbanโ€™ sound โ€“ think the 1990s, early 00s R&B. Tavaras Jordan produced the record, which thrives off keys, strings, and refined musical cues.

As always, Summer Walker matches the โ€˜cool energyโ€™ of the instrumental accompaniment.  Her vocals are smooth and warm. She never sounds like she breaks a sweet.  Even so, she remains potent and firmly in command of the track.  Besides sweet lead vocals, the supporting background vocals are awesome.  Also, the vocal production is well-rounded.  Even though Walker never gets too high, it doesnโ€™t mean she doesnโ€™t bring attitude.  โ€œWanna give up on you but, damn, I know I canโ€™t / I put the blame on me for giving you chance after chance,โ€ she sings in the first verse.  In the second, she asserts, โ€œItโ€™s my mind and my soul versus your pride / Nigga, check your ego โ€˜cause I left mine at the door.โ€ Oh, snap! Memorably, in the pre-chorus, she tells him, โ€œPut your words on your life this time / And I hope your ass ainโ€™t lyinโ€™ โ€˜cause / Only thing thatโ€™s saving you / Is the heart of a woman.โ€ โ€œHeart Of A Womanโ€ is another bop from Queen Summer Walker!

5. Baauer, โ€œAll My Ladiesโ€

โ€œAll My Ladiesโ€ // LUCKYMEยฎ // 2024

Baauer, All My Ladies [๐Ÿ“ท: LUCKYMEยฎ]โ€œWe so fly with it, we so bossy with it / We so flossy, fellas, this is for my ladies, ladies.โ€ Woo! Baauer is best known for his unforgettable, viral, one-hit-wonder โ€œHarlem Shakeโ€.  However, Harry Bauer Rodrigues has recorded other bops, including the short but potent โ€œAll My Ladies.โ€ โ€œAll My Ladiesโ€ samples โ€œBoss Ladyโ€ by Issa featuring Trina. The single doesnโ€™t require extensive analysis.  It is anchored by an infectious, danceable beat. The production by Baauer is sleek โ€“ readymade for clubs and raves. The synths are giving synth-tastic! The tempo is quick, while the vibe is nothing short of lit.

This one is for the ladies through and through (โ€œWe so flossy, fellas, this is for my ladies, ladiesโ€), but the fellas can get behind the carefree, feel-good, night-out vibes.

โ€œAll my ladies, if you feel me, get your drinks, throw it up

If youโ€™re fly, and youโ€™re sexy, go ahead and show it off.โ€

โ€œAll My Ladiesโ€ slaps hard! Check out the remix (โ€œAll My Ladies (SHAKING Dub)โ€).

6. Katy Perry, โ€œWOMANโ€™S WORLDโ€

1432 // Capitol // 2024

Katy Perry, 1432 [๐Ÿ“ท: Capitol]โ€œItโ€™s a womanโ€™s world and youโ€™re lucky to be livinโ€™ in it.โ€ Thatโ€™s an empowering statement from Katy Perry BUT, itโ€™s not that simpleโ€ฆ Itโ€™s bad when a comeback seems doomed from the start. The Grammy-nominated pop singer/songwriterโ€™s sixth studio album, 143, was led by a controversial lead single, โ€œWOMANโ€™S WORLDโ€. Fans and critics cried foul because Perry collaborated on this feminist anthem with controversial producer Dr. Luke. In โ€œWOMANโ€™S WORLDโ€ intent canโ€™t be separated from the controversy the producer and songwriter brought on. The song isnโ€™t good enough. The lyrics say the right things (โ€œFire in her eyes / Feminine divine / She was born to shineโ€) but the song is nothing special โ€“ utterly forgettable.  Perrys sings okay, but itโ€™s not enough.  The same can be said about the production (Dr. Luke, Aaron Joseph, Rocco Did It Again!, and Vaughn Oliver). Itโ€™s bright, rhythmic, and energetic, but also, sounds anachronistic โ€“ โ€˜been there, done that.โ€™ Dr. Lukeโ€™s presence hurts, shortchanging the song.  But also, the song itself is painfully mediocre โ€“ less than mediocre from my perspective. โ€œWOMANโ€™S WORLDโ€ is a forgettable song, but an unforgettable misstep by Perry that doomed 143, the worst album of her career.

7. Young Nudy, โ€œButt Naked Bitchesโ€

Slimeball // 1230 Entertainment LLC // 2016

Young Nudy, Slimeball [๐Ÿ“ท: 1230 Entertainment LLC]โ€œButt naked bitches in the kitchen water whippinโ€™ / Young nigga seventeen, saran wrapping midget / Eighteen, young nigga holding the stick by the window,โ€ Young Nudy (Quantavious Thomas) spits in the infectious chorus of โ€œButt Naked Bitchesโ€.  The Atlanta rapper adds, memorably, โ€œGrandma upstairs, yeah she call the cops / But we still on the street, we gonโ€™ beat the block.โ€ Woo! โ€œButt Naked Bitches,โ€ the fifth track from Slimeball (2016), is less about women and more about hustling and making money.  It features a malicious-sounding production by Piโ€™erre Bourne.  Bourne puts his foot into this one. Set in a minor key, the sick synths and badass beat help fuel Young Nudyโ€™s fire.

In โ€œButt Naked Bitches,โ€ Young Nudy captivates with his cadence and flow.  He is bold, confident, and unapologetic from the jump. In the first verse, he asserts:

โ€œBitch Iโ€™m slimeball, you can call me king finesse

I would jugg โ€˜em, I would rob โ€˜em, take โ€˜em out for the check

They say they โ€˜bout the moolah, bitch, you know Iโ€™m โ€˜bout the check

I finesse, do a nigga wrong, anything for a check.โ€

Money, money, money! The second verse keeps the same energy: โ€œAll I love is getting money, baby, Slime he love that Nike / And I will feed this ho molly like she eat a Trident.โ€ Wowโ€ฆ Mollies, huh? Young Nudy keeps it a buck on the โ€˜gives no fucksโ€™ entertaining rap banger, โ€œButt Naked Bitchesโ€.  No deep analysis is necessary.  #TURN UP!

8. Chaka Khan, โ€œIโ€™m Every Womanโ€

Chaka // Warner // 1978

Chaka Khan, Chaka [๐Ÿ“ท: Warner]โ€œIโ€™m every woman, itโ€™s all in me / Anything you want done, baby, Iโ€™ll do it naturally.โ€ Ah, the empowerment, and you donโ€™t have to be a woman to appreciate and embrace it! โ€œIโ€™m Every Womanโ€ commences Chaka, the 1978 gold-certified debut album by the one-and-only Chaka Khan (1953 โ€“ ). Nikolas Ashford (1942 โ€“ 2011) and Valerie Simpson (1946 โ€“ ) penned a dynamic debut solo single for Khan, one of the greatest singers EVER. Arif Mardin produced it. Unsurprisingly, the song was nominated for the Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female.  A success on the pop charts, โ€œIโ€™m Every Womanโ€ peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100.  As of October 7, 2024, โ€œWomanโ€ was certified gold.

So, what makes โ€œIโ€™m Every Womanโ€ a masterpiece? It begins with Chaka Khan.  Her voice is high-flying โ€“ dynamic, expressive, nuanced, and sublime.  Those biting high notes give you chills.  The songwriting is fantastic, the expectation from a dynamic duo like Ashford & Simpson. Chaka lists all the great things women can do.  โ€œI can cast a spell / With secrets you canโ€™t tell,โ€ she sings in the first verse, continuing, โ€œMix a special brew / Put fire inside of you.โ€ Oh, snap! In the second verse, she can  โ€œsense your needs,โ€ but sheโ€™s got plenty of good old-fashioned love. Say that, Chaka! The bridge distinguishes itself in sound but maintains the empowered sensibilities: โ€œAnd donโ€™t bother to compare / โ€˜Cause Iโ€™ve got it.โ€ Indeed!  Beyond the singing and songwriting, the musical accompaniment and production are terrific. The dance/disco/funk aesthetic is masterfully established from the get-go. The backdrop is colorful with a rich palette of sounds.  The rhythm section is locked in, anchored by a mean groove, sweet keys, a big, athletic bass line, and a sick rhythmic guitar.  The orchestra is lit, with elegant, rhythmic strings.  Beyond Khanโ€™s lead vocals, the backing vocals deserve shout-outs, amplifying her sickening lead. โ€œIโ€™m Every Womanโ€ is Chaka Khan at her best. The late, great Whitney Houston famously covered it!

9. Aerosmith, โ€œDude (Looks Like A Lady)โ€

Permanent Vacation // Geffen // 1987

Aerosmith, Permanent Vacation [๐Ÿ“ท: Geffen]โ€œThat dude looks like a lady.โ€ Whoa, whoa, woah! Aerosmith took a risk with โ€œDude (Looks Like A Lady)โ€ from their 1987 album, Permanent Vacation. A song about referencing an androgynous, transgender ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ person in the Regan era was bold.  The inspiration for the song was Vince Neil, who Steven Tyler (1948 โ€“ ) mistook for a blonde-haired lady at a bar. Navigating gender issues elevates controversy, even if the song doesnโ€™t suffer many repercussions or censorship. There were far fewer LGBTQ+ songs back then, but Tyler and Joe Perry (1950 โ€“  ), with the help of songwriter Desmond Child (1953 โ€“ ) recorded one. The late, Grammy-nominated, Canadian producer Bruce Fairbairn (1949 โ€“ 1999) produced it.

Following the chorus, โ€œDude (Looks Like A Lady)โ€ remains bold. โ€œCruise into a bar on the shore / Her picture graced the grime on the door,โ€ Tyler sings in the first verse.  The cruise lyric is worth mentioning because the song was originally named  โ€œCruisinโ€™ for the Ladies.โ€ In the second, we get the spiciest lyrics. Taken with this โ€˜lady,โ€™ Steven sings, โ€œSomebody said / โ€˜Forgive me if I seem out of lineโ€™ / And she whipped out a gun and tried to blow me away.โ€ Following the โ€˜big revealโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜ณ, Tyler takes a progressive stance.  โ€œNever judge a book by its cover / Or who you gonna love by your lover,โ€ he sings in the third verse, concluding, โ€œShe had the body of Venus, Lord, imagine my surprise.โ€ By the bridge, โ€œHe was a lady.โ€ โ€œDudeโ€ is intriguing.  Yes, it rocks instrumentally, as well as the big-time chorus, but is it a song that would be recorded in the 2020s? Doubtful. Is it transphobic? I do not think so, but opinions vary. There is more nuance regarding gender and sexuality in music, often performed by members of the LGBTQ community.  One thing that โ€œDude (Looks Like A Lady)โ€ does well is initiate an important conversation.

10. Betty Wright, โ€œClean up Womanโ€

I Love the Way You Love // Alston // 1972

Betty Wright, I Love the Way You Love [๐Ÿ“ท: Alston]โ€œA clean up woman is woman who / Gets all the love we girls leave behind.โ€ Late, great, Grammy-winning R&B artist Betty Wright adds in the first verse of โ€œClean up Womanโ€, โ€œThe reason I know so much about her / Is because she picked up a man of mine.โ€ This 1971 gem was composed by Willie Clarke and Clarence Reid. Right on, fellas, or should I say, write on! It earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female at the 15th Annual GRAMMY Awards. One of two top-10 hits, โ€œClean up Womanโ€ reached no. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972.

โ€œWas making it easy for the clean-up woman

To get my manโ€™s love, oh yeah

Just making it easy, for the clean-up woman

To get my babyโ€™s love.โ€

Apparently, Betty.  Of course, she sings with ample attitude and incredible power.  Notably, Wright was still a young lady when โ€œClean up Womanโ€ was released โ€“ 18 years of age! Beyond her vocal skills and energy, and the ear-catching lyrics, the music shines. How about that funky guitar playing? Give credit to the incredibly talented Little Beaver, ladies and gents! Also, the robust bass line is another part of the excellence.  And we canโ€™t forget about those exuberant, soulful horns! All in all, โ€œClean up Womanโ€,  the sixth track from her 1972 album, I Love the Way You Love, is utterly sublime.

11. Eagles, โ€œWitchy Womanโ€

Eagles // Asylum // 1972

Eagles, Eagles [๐Ÿ“ท: Asylum]โ€œRaven hair and ruby lips / Sparks fly from her fingertips.โ€ Oh, snap, Don Henley! Those lyrics hail from the Eaglesโ€™ minor-key single, โ€œWitchy Womanโ€. โ€œWitchy Womanโ€ appeared on the legendary bandโ€™s self-titled, 1972 debut album.  It marks one of 10 top 10 hits by the Eagles. It peaked at no. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. Henley not only sings lead but penned the song alongside Bernie Leadon. Glyn Johns produced.

Given the title, Henley, singing expressively paints this woman as all things witch-related.  In the second verse, he asserts, โ€œShe had me spellbound in the night /โ€ฆ Crazy laughter in another room.โ€ A cackling witch? Later, he sings, โ€œShe can rock you in the nighttime โ€˜til your skin turns red.โ€ Devilish! The chorus is the centerpiece, sung by the collective: โ€œWoo hoo, witch woman / See how high she flies / Woo hoo, witch woman / She got the moon in her eye.โ€  Not only are Henley and the Eagles referencing a witch riding a broom, but they could be referencing drugs.  The second verse delivers an interesting lyric: โ€œAnd she drove herself to madness with a silver spoon.โ€ Is this silver spoon a reference to drugs (heroin specifically) or privilege? โ€œWitchy Womanโ€ was inspired by several women including Zelda Fitzgerald, the wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald who was born into wealth.  Their marriage was turbulent.  A classic, โ€œWitchy Womanโ€ thrives thanks to the โ€˜witchyโ€™ songwriting, fabulous lead vocals by Henley, harmonized vocals by the Eagles, and a sweet, minor-key accompanying instrumental.

12. The Isley Brothers, โ€œThat Lady Parts 1 & 2โ€

The Isley Brothers // 3 + 3 // Sony Music Entertainment // 1973

The Isley Brothers, 3 + 3 [๐Ÿ“ท: Sony Music Entertainment]โ€œWhoโ€™s that lady (Whoโ€™s that lady?) / Beautiful lady (Whoโ€™s that lady?) / Lovely lady (Whoโ€™s that lady?) / Real fine lady (Whoโ€™s that lady?).โ€ Indeed, Ronald Isley, indeed. Those lyrics hail from the timeless The Isley Brothersโ€™ gem, โ€œThat Ladyโ€. โ€œThat Lady, Pts. 1 & 2โ€ is the opening track from the Grammy-winning soul collectiveโ€™s milestone album, 3 + 3.  The album also features the โ€˜singleโ€™ version of the song โ€œThat Lady, Pt. 1โ€, which reached number six on the Billboard Hot 1003 + 3 marked the expansion of The Isley Brothers and their eclecticism. This includes the monstrous addition of Ernie Isley (guitar). There are also the keys of the late Chris Jasper (1951 โ€“ 2025) and bass of Marvin Isley, forming the instrumental half of the band.  Harmonizing sweetly with Ron are the late Rudolph Isley and the late Oโ€™Kelly Isley. โ€œThat Ladyโ€ was written and produced by the soul collective.

The chorus, excerpted above, is the section to beat on โ€œThat Lady.โ€ Ronald Isley delivers cool but potent lead vocals.  He gets epic background vocals from Rudolph and Oโ€™Kelly. Even with the chorus being the catโ€™s meow,  the verses are captivating, too.  โ€œYour eyes tell me to pursue,โ€ Ronald sings in the first verse, continuing, โ€œBut you say โ€˜Look, yeah, but donโ€™t touch, babyโ€™.โ€ In the second verse, he continues to be enamored by the lady, imploring her to โ€œCome โ€˜round my way, baby / Shine my way.โ€ Beyond the lyrics, the music slaps.  โ€œThat Ladyโ€ thrives off a soulful groove and sensational drumming by George Moreland. The rhythm section is electrifying, led by Ernieโ€™s guitar playing. On the extended version, his soloing is epic. Jasper โ€˜brings the heatโ€™ on the keys, particularly when he accompanies Ernie during his guitar solo.  Also, amplifying the timbre is a mean-sounding organ performed by Truman Thomas.  And of course, we cannot leave out that sickening, robust bass line performed by Marvin Isley. Whichever version of  โ€œThat Ladyโ€ you partake of is epic!

13. Jerry Butler, โ€œMoody Womanโ€

Ice On Ice // UMG Recordings, Inc. // 1969

Jerry Butler, Ice On Ice [๐Ÿ“ท: UMG Recordings, Inc.]โ€œ(Moody woman) / (Moody woman) / (Moody woman) / (Moody woman).โ€ In 2025, the music world lost a giant โ€“ a legend:  Jerry Butler (1939 โ€“ 2025) ๐Ÿ˜ข.  The 85-year-old left an enormous, enduring catalog, including the short and sweet gem โ€œMoody Womanโ€. โ€œMoody Womanโ€ was officially written by Butler, Kenneth Gamble (1943 โ€“ ), and โ€œTheresa Bellโ€ (Gamble & Huff).  Bobby Martin and Thom Bell arranged the track while Gamble and Leon Huff (1942 โ€“ ) produced it. The opener from Butlerโ€™s 1969 album Ice On Ice performed respectably on the pop charts reaching number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.

โ€œMoody Womanโ€ is a classy, refined soul track.  It begins with the intro where we learn the title and the womanโ€™s state.  The musical arrangement and instrumental are marvelous (vibes, horn riffs, lush strings, and tight rhythm section), providing Jerry Butler with a terrific backdrop to sing upon.  As always, โ€˜The Icemanโ€™ is smooth and butter, sounding like he never breaks a sweat as he sings about this moody woman.  โ€œGirl I canโ€™t stand it when you start acting funny,โ€ he sings in the first verse, continuing, โ€œAnd look at me like Iโ€™m bugginโ€™ you, honey.โ€ Oh, snap! In the second, he asserts, โ€œYou make my day when you say you need me / But, thatโ€™s no way to play when you say youโ€™re gonna leave me.โ€ Word! The sentiment is similar in the third verse.  In the chorus, Butler informs her of his love for her, stating, โ€œMoody woman (Moody woman) / I think the world of you.โ€ In the bridge, he can see through her moodiness, knowing that โ€œYou love me.โ€ Innocent, short, and sweet, the classicism and elegance of โ€œMoody Womanโ€ speaks for itself.  Music does not sound like this song in the 2020s, yet, revisiting it is incredibly nostalgic and refreshing. Rest in peace, Mr. Butler.
