“E-R-O-T-I-C, E-R-O-T-I-C, E-R-O-T-I-C / I’m the girl in all your fantasies.” Oh, snap! Neila is that girl! She exudes no shortage of confidence in her erotic single, fittingly titled “Erotic”. Ashley Newman wrote “Erotic,” while Ayaana Nash produced it. As excerpted, Neila spells out erotic during the intro and chorus. These particular lyrics are spoken rather than sung. While it’s no secret about the erotic nature of the song, it’s not all spelling. Some of the eroticism is more poetic, though still S-E-N-S-U-A-L, sensual.  “Smelling like vanilla and cherries / He walked behind me just to smell my breeze,” she sings in the first verse, continuing, “Wanna know what I taste like? / Try and take a bite.” Later, regarding ecstasy (double entendre incoming), “There’s no type of drug that compares to me / Put it on ya mouth in the backseat / All natural check the recipe.” Oh, wow 🤯 😮 😶! Yup, that’s how Neila rolls throughout “Erotic.” Beyond her solid performance, including bringing rhythmic, melodic lines to life, as well as rapping in the second verse, the music is sweet.  The groove is sickening.  There are some marvelous musical touches with the horns, giving the song a unique flavor.  Uniquely, “Erotic” concludes with a… wait for it… erotic interlude. All in all, this is an enjoyable, sexy, and well-rounded S-E-X song.

2. Caught in Action, “Erotic Control”

“Feel the heat, feel the fire / Burning up from barely touching your skin.” Damn, Marcello Vieira! The talented vocalist of Swedish melodic rock band Caught in Action continues singing in the first verse of “Erotic Control,” “Never felt such desire / I don’t think I’ve ever wanted anything so bad.” Yeah, that one deserves a gah-day-um! “Erotic Control” is the sixth track on the band’s 2025 album, Out of the Cold.  Richard Jönsson (guitar), Jens Mattsson (bass), and Mats Elofsson (drums) wrote this erotic joint.

“Erotic Control” thrives on its distorted, in-your-face, jagged, mean-sounding guitars (the riffs and soloing kick ass), a driving bass line, and pummeling drums 🤘. Rawr! Of course, Viera is beastly on vocals, showcasing aggressiveness, assertiveness, power, and incredible range. “Drawn like a moth to the flame,” per the pre-chorus, in the song’s most memorable section, the chorus, he sings:

“Up, down, all around, inside out

Spin me around like a record babe – Rock me ‘til I scream and shout

Here, there, everywhere, roll me around

An erotic magic carpet ride

Until I can’t take no more

Of your erotic control.”

Ooh-wee! That one deserves a holy shit reaction! She’s got him going wild to say the least, including being “So addicted to the sweetness of your fruit.” Caught in Action rock the fuck out on “Erotic Control” 🤘.

3. Gonzy & SAIKO, “EROTICAAAAAAA”

THE WORLD IS YOURS » Virgin Music Latin / Visonare Recordings, LLC » 2024

“Me siento poderoso con los polvo’ que echamo’ / Tú te vienes primero y yo te sigo el paso.” In English, Cuban American singer Gonzy (Elian Gonzalez) sings, “I feel powerful with the sex we have / You come first, and I keep up with you.” Sex is the keyword 😈.  He and Spanish singer SAIKO (Miguel Cantos Gómez) join forces for an erotic experience. “EROTICAAAAAAA” is the sixth track from Gonzy’s 2024 album, THE WORLD IS YOURS.  I suppose the six extra As are for emphasis! Produced by Doza, the sound oozes with sensual vibes.  With lyrics performed exclusively in Spanish, “EROTICAAAAAAA” is a Spanish R&B/trap cut. Set in a minor key, the boys get naughty, evidenced early by Gonzy.

Gonzy delivers beautiful, rhythmic vocals. He performs the intro (excerpted above), first chorus, and first verse.  He also performs the final chorus.  Even though he looks and sings beautifully, he thinks with his pants.  “Ma, te pones diabólica, aunque eres Católica [Ma, you get diabolical, even though you are Catholic],” he sings, adding, “te pone’ erótica / Ese culo dando vuelta’, juro que a mí me hipnotiza,” referring to her being aroused and “That ass turning around, I swear it hypnotizes me.” Sex is the modus operandi.  Need more evidence? Gonzy tells her to quiet down – they’ll kick them out of the apartment (loud sex).  Also, the pipe is electric:

“Mami, en tu mente soy el mejor que te la mete

Ponte el panti con mi nombre por detrá’ que me excita.”

[“Mommy, in your mind I’m the best at putting it in you

Put on the panties with my name on the back, it turns me on.”]

The sex is also lit for Saiko, who performs the second chorus and second verse. A prime example: “Va’ a echar chorros como el Sea-Doo” (“She’s going to squirt like the Sea-Doo”).  Oh, snap! It gets even more graphic, though sans explicit words, roughly translated as, “And I speed her up like Mountain Dew (Uh-uh-uh) / So deep that I feel even my skeleton.” Ooh-wee! “EROTICAAAAAAA” is enjoyable and also, naughty as, dare I say, joder?!

4. Miya Folick, “Erotica”

“How’d we get here / Such a tender kiss / Now you’re drinking coffee / With a serial monogamist.” A serial monogamist, huh? Noted. Queer Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Miya Folick shines on “Erotica,” the opening track from her 2025 album, Erotica Veronica. It begins with a calm, cool, and collected piano ostinato. The song also welcomes passionate strings. After the tone is set, the drums, guitars, and bass are introduced to the mix. Miya Folick sings with a sublime, warm tone. She never breaks a sweat, delivering a calm, cool, and collected but potent vocal. The melodies are lovely throughout, accompanied by fabulous, poetic songwriting. Beyond the serial monogamy of the first verse, Folick adds, “Taste of saffron / Honey in my milk.” Ooh-la-la! In the second verse, she supports conversation and transparency, singing, “If it’s scary / Baby talk to me / My sensual proclivities / Fuel your anxiety.” Sensual proclivities, huh? Oh, snap! The chorus is the centerpiece, featuring the titular lyric as well as the album’s titular lyric:

“I just wanna flirt with a girl

In broad daylight on the street

I can see hеr chapped lips burnt by the sun

As she’s lеaning into me

Erotica, Veronica

I can feel the softness, heavenly kiss

Ultimately, “Erotica” is not only a fine opener on Erotica Veronica but also a stellar standalone track. Erotica, Veronica, I can feel the softness, heavenly kiss… indeed!

5. Bentley Robles, “CHAOTIC EROTICA”

CHAOTIC EROTICA (EP) » Bentley Robles Music » 2024 

“Put your hands on me / Sweat from body heat / Chained to the rhythm / To the rush / Of this red hot crush.” Sounds hot, Bentley Robles (Bruno Pazzi Robles)! The gay pop artist keeps things sex-positive to the nth degree on “CHAOTIC EROTICA”, the title track and the sixth track overall from his 2024 EP.  He penned this flirty, sensual gem alongside the talented Myylo (Michael Myylo Lewis) and producer FLORIO (Dominic Florio).  The musical accompaniment is the perfect catalyst for the dance floor.  No worries, though.  The energetic synths and groove are also perfect post-dance floor – aka the bedroom.

Bentley Robles ‘brings the heat,’ rather, ‘the sex,’ consistently. “Oh, hot damn it’s so fucking crazy / Pornographic thoughts of us daily,” he asserts. If you really like someone, admit it, you lust after them.  You have those same fucking thoughts that Robles describes 🤭 😈. Of course, Bentley takes it to the next level, which may not be everyone’s sexual experiences 😏.“I want bruises on my knees – please / Playgirl magazine – dreams.” Oh, snap! Use your imagination for that one! The chorus is the section to beat in all its infectious glory:

While the chorus is tamer than some of the lyrics that appear elsewhere, Robles sums up that this experience is chaotic in the most pleasing way possible.  “CHAOTIC EROTICA” radiates midnight heat!

6. Slayyyter, “Erotic Electronic”

“Erotic electronic, erotic electronic, erotic electronic, erotic electronic.” Woo!  Slayyyter (Catherine Grace Garner) brings fierceness to “Erotic Electronic”, the seventh track from her 2023 album, STARFUCKER. Short but sweet, “Erotic Electronic” clocks in under two-and-a-half minutes. She co-wrote the unapologetic bop with JBACH (Jonathan Bach), nicopop (Nicolas DiPietrantonio), and Owen Jackson. Nicopop and Jackson produced it. Of course, Slayyyter is not the least bit innocent.  Beyond those chanted erotic electronic vocals, she gets down, dirty, and straight-up naughty in the chorus:

“Three more seconds ‘til I get naked

When we’re both alone, you can’t take it

He like when I’m out of my latex

I wanna have some fun.”

Ooh-wee, Slayyyter! “Erotic Electronic” sounds enigmatic and sketchy from the beginning. The synths create an electrifying groove. Soon enough, the beat drops, anchoring the minor-key, erotic-sounding cut. Slayyyter plays up the eroticism and steaminess. Her performance is bold, sexy, and, unsurprisingly, NSFW: “Fuck me on the dancefloor, wrap your hands around and touch my body /… See the DJ watchin’ me dance, I wanna get fucked, don’t wanna hold hands.” Well, holy fuckin’ shite! Need to up the erotic in your life? Look no further than “Erotic Electronic”.

7. Keyshia Cole, “Erotic”

A Different Me » Geffen » 2008 

“Ooh, ooh, ooh / Ooh, you drive me crazy / Ooh, you make me want you so bad…” Oh, the desire… the lust, Keyshia Cole! Despite those highly sexual feelings, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter keeps it tame on her sensual song, “Erotic”. “Erotic” is the fourth track from her third studio album, A Different Me, released in 2008. Cole co-wrote “Erotic” with Ron Fair and Ron “Neff-U” Feemster, who also produced it. Fair co-arranged the vocals with Cole, as well as arranging the strings. The musical accompaniment shines thanks to the sickening beat, lush, sensual, playful strings (what about the moments the strings bring an accented attack 🤩), and electrifying synths.

“Erotic” opens mysteriously, setting the tone for this erotic contemporary R&B gem. After her fire is fueled by the intro, Keyshia Cole brings the heat vocally. “Can’t help but notice the way you see me,” she sings in the erotic first verse, adding in the second, “I’m so real, yeah, and baby, I can’t control myself.” The pre-chorus and chorus (excerpted earlier) mark key sections. “I want you to come over here and / Grab my body so we can dance back and forth,” she sings in the pre-chorus, continuing, “Baby, you know I try, but I can’t control myself…” Hey, at least she’s honest! In the chorus, she adds, “You complete me / Ooh, you need me, I promise.” Noted! The bridge marks another alluring section because “That, baby, like that, baby!” Although a non-single, “Erotic” is one of Cole’s best… and sensual…

8. JMSN, “Got 2 B Erotic”

“I’ve been tryna get rowdy all night long / Baby, we can do whatever you wanna do.” Oh, have you, JMSN (Christian Berishaj)? The Texas-born, Michigan-bred R&B singer means business on “Got 2 B Erotic,” where she’s “Bougie and exotic / You’ve got to be erotic.” Word. “Got 2 B Erotic” is the sixth track from his 2018 album, Velvet. The lengthiest song on Velvet, north of six-and-a-half minutes… It’s hella erotic, you might say!  The good news is that it’s worth every second of its length.  The musical accompaniment is striking with the slapped bass, colorful keys, ripe electric guitar, and anchored by a hard-hitting beat.  Vocally, Berishaj sounds sensational, impressing with his versatile pipes. As the excerpted lyrics suggested, “Got 2 B Erotic” lives up to its title. See the most overt example in the first verse: “Below your panty line / You don’t seem satisfied / Baby, tell me what you wanna do.” Holy shyyyt, JMSN!  We know what he has in mind 😈.  He adds in the same verse:

“Tell me, do you really wanna get into it with a devil like me?

‘Cause I’ve been known to get it popping /
Once you pop, it ain’t no stopping
If you want it, you can get it for free.”

The sexual innuendo is loud and clear, amplified by his distinct voice. “Got 2 B Erotic” is H-O-T, hot, baby! Better yet, it’s E-R-O-T-I-C, erotic!

9. Butchers Harem,  “Erotic Stories Written in Blood”

“Tears of crap mixed with morsels of semen from bleeding butt, their rear ends bashed to fuck dumb sluts left battered in fear struck.” Say what? “EROTIC STORIES WRITTEN IN BLOOD” – that’s a fierce, eyebrow-raising song title right there! “EROTIC STORES WRITTEN IN BLOOD” lives up to its title as it’s unapologetic.  Appearing as the unlucky 13^th track on – wait for it – EROTIC STORES WRITTEN IN BLOOD, this joint isn’t the least bit safe for work. Butchers Harem is “Doing something unholy”! “We get aroused when we’re murdering and play with the guts / Take our display of disturbing shit like a blade raping ya cunts.” Wow 😬! It doesn’t get any more family-friendly for the Australian rap collective as they mention “Tourist bitches corpses dismantled, then left abandoned / Rottin’ bodies hidden in the bushes under piles of sandstone / Vaginal chasms full of warm juices from my testicular sanctum,” as well as asserting, “Nailing the mammaries upon adolescent fruition, vaginal splattering with the stench of attrition, make every victim, adsorb my fuck.” What more is there to say? These erotic stories are, pardon my French, totally fucked up.

10. Madonna, “Erotica”

“Erotica, romance / My name is Dita, I’ll be your mistress tonight / I’d like to put you in a trance.” Madonna and controversy are nearly synonymous.  The pop icon courted a couple of controversies with “Erotica”, the opening track from her fifth studio album, Erotica, released in 1992. The title informs even the most naïve listeners that S-E-X is the modus operandi.  Indeed, Madge ventures into the world of S&M 😈. “Erotica” samples “Jungle Boogie” by Kool & the Gang (1973) and “El Yom ‘Ulliqa ‘Ala Khashaba” by Lebanese musician Fairuz.  The latter sample is controversial.  It is an Easter chant, so Fairuz is singing about the crucifixion of Jesus.  Madonna gives the lyrics a sexual perspective with Fairuz’s voice 😳. The sacrilege cost Madge some money – Fairuz sued Madonna in 1993.

Madonna and Shep Pettibone produced “Erotica.” As another successful single for Madge, it peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.  “Erotica” features an infectious groove.  Madonna is effective with her spoken word vocals and naughty lyrics. Besides merely spitting sex, she introduces us to Dita Parlo. But, how about examining a few of those naughty lyrics?  “If I take you from behind, push myself into your mind,” she asserts in the first verse, continuing, “When you least expect it, will you try and reject it /… Will you let yourself go wild, let my mouth go where it wants to?” Gotta love an anal reference 😈! In the second verse, she sings, “Once you put your hand in the flame, you can never be the same / There’s a certain satisfaction, in a little bit of pain / …I only hurt the ones I love.”  Ah, there’s the S&M.  She confirms pleasure and pain in the pre-chorus, singing, “I’ll give you love, I’ll hit you like a truck.”  Damn! On the bridge, she informs her ‘victim’, I mean lover, “I don’t think you know what pain is /… I could bring you so much pleasure /… I’m not gonna hurt you / Just close your eyes.” With lots of sexy spoken word, Madonna sings the chorus: “Erotic, erotic, put your hands all over my body.” The album Erotica accompanies Madge’s infamous Sex book. Besides thematic and plagiaristic controversies, the music video for “Erotica” also earned controversy.  It was banned on MTV for being too sexual and aimed at a mature (aka adult) audience. More than 30 years later, “Erotica” is undoubtedly a classic from Madonna.

11. Prince, “Erotic City”

Purple Rain (Deluxe Expanded Edition) » NPG / Warner » 1984 

“If we cannot make babies / Maybe we can make some time / Fuck so pretty, you and me / Erotic City, come alive.” Once upon a time, Prince, aka The Purple One, was a master of releasing sexually explicit songs. “Erotic City”, a B-side for “Let’s Go Crazy”, is a prime example of The Purple One getting freaky.  Sheila E assists him with this NSFW song.  In the chorus, Prince and E continue, “We can fuck until the dawn / Makin’ love ‘til cherry’s gone / Erotic City, can’t you see / Fuck so pretty, you and me.” Hmm, cherry’s gone, huh? Would it be far-fetched that The Purple One was referencing popping the cherry? “Erotic City” appears on the compilation, The Hits / The B-Sides (1993), as well as Purple Rain (Deluxe Expanded Edition) from 2017.

The f-bombs are used in a sexual context – there is no hiding that! “We could fuck until dawn (Until dawn) / How I wish you were my dame,” he sings in the third verse.  Even in moments where the language is not considered obscene, the sex is inescapable.  Backtracking to the second verse, he sings, “You’re a sinner, I don’t care / I just want your creamy thighs.” Holy shit!  Despite the horniness of “Erotic City”, it is funky to the nth degree.  Prince sings fantastically, infusing ample personality into his performance.  Sheila E is on-point, bringing the heat to this classic sex track.  Ask yourself this question: Who doesn’t want to visit the “Erotic City”?
