If you need a testimony, renowned gospel collective 🎙 The Williams Brothers have a sensational one for you. Following the reverent instrumental introduction of 🎵 “I Felt A Change”, renowned gospel collective The Williams Brothers impart story about being saved – accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. This thoughtful and memorable record from their 1990 album, 💿 In This Place [Note: it also appears on their 1999 album, 💿 Still Here] captures and embodies such a spiritual awakening – a significant change.

After setting up the record, The Brothers assert, “I couldn’t see nothing / I couldn’t see nothing / I felt a change in me.” My, my, my! After establishing this inexplicable change, at least from a logical, realist lens, The William Brothers continue to expound, singing, “Something got in my hands / Something got in my feet / I just couldn’t sit in my seat!”  To reiterate, this experience is all about salvation from above 🙌, something that is not easy to explain, obvious. Faith is required, period. The Brothers go on to say, “It felt like fire / That holy ghost fire.” Woo! They furthermore reflect, asserting, “I’ve been changed / The angels in heaven done signed my name / Changed…” If you are a believer, you understand what this record entails. The key takeaway is how substantial a relationship with God is – “Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me!”
