Eminem, assisted by 2 Chainz and Phresher, drops a ferocious remix of “Chloraseptic,” one of the highlights from his critically-mixed ninth studio album, ‘Revival.’

It’s no secret that Revival, the ninth studio album by Eminem, received its fair share of criticism.  Nonetheless, Revival had its fair share of moments.  One of which was “Chloraseptic,” featuring Phresher. Eminem ‘goes in’ on the highlight, unapologetic to the nth degree. He asserts himself as being lethal when it comes to spitting.

“That’s what it’s like when the mic is out / ‘Cause I’m tearin’ at your flesh with it / ‘Til your larynx and neck are split.”

Phresher kills it on the catchy hook, which reappears on the “Chloraseptic (Remix),” the record at hand.

“I’m at your throat like Chloraseptic, ‘septic / And you got strep, I’m too complex with, ‘plex with / This shit I wrote is on some next shit, next shit / I’m at your throat, I’m feelin’ reckless, reckless, yeah.”

Lots changes on the remix, which adds 2 Chainz. He kicks things off ferociously. “Take ‘em to church, I’m talkin’ the tabernacle / It’s the return of the body snatcher / Walk in the spot, make my woman smack ya (woo!).” Killing it…in the most 2 Chainz way possible. Phresher follows with his own verse, another contrast.

“Do me a favor, don’t do me no favors / These bitches got flavors / They all wanna smoke but ain’t doin’ no labor / But they shoppin’ at Raleys, they stingin’ like tasers / Act Hollywood like they play for the Lakers.”

As for Eminem, he takes a backseat until his brand new third verse, following the Phresher hook. Most notably, he raps about the criticism of Revival.

“‘Revival’s wack, I don’t like the ‘Zombie’ track / And when he’s talkin’ that garbage psychotic crap / Where’s your content at? / What’s with all the conscious rap? / P!nk, Beyoncé this and Kehlani that’ / I just added to the fuel in my rocket pack / ‘Til I’m ready to respond, then I’ma launch it at ’em / Idiotic from the fuckin’ embryonic sac / To the body bag, I’ll be back / And when I am, I’ll be at your fuckin’ throat like—.”

Final Thoughts

Regardless of one’s opinion on Revival as a whole, Eminem and company shines on “Chloroseptic (Remix).” Banger.
