Oli Sykes and Grammy-nominated rock band, Bring Me The Horizon, rocks hard in their inaugural single of 2024, “Kool-Aid.”

“We are the children of the devolution / The infamous martyrs, the scars on the sun / Asphyxiating with a smile on your face / While they pull your teeth out one by one.” Woo! Clearly, the “Kool-Aid” is hellish in the hands of Bring Me The Horizon. BMTH’s first single of 2024 is filled with ample angst. Backed by strong production work, “Kool-Aid” commences with feedback. Furthermore, the record is heavy and incredibly menacing from the jump. We wouldn’t have it any other way!
“‘Cause you got a taste now, drank the Kool-Aid by the jug
So, suffer your fate, oh, come here and give me a hug
Nobody loves you like I love you, oh, my dear
But you should’ve known that this was gonna end in tears.”
Besides the tuneful melody in the chorus, the underlying harmonic progression is a win too. All told, Oli and Bring Me The Horizon shine on “Kool-Aid,” quite the way to rock hard at the beginning of 2024.
