Despite its ‘anti’ minded rollout, Rihanna’s Anti ascends to the no. 1 spot after debuting 27th following its nontraditional release. It’s not all about Rihanna this week. There are more BB grooves from the Billboard 200 dated February 20, 2016.

1. Rihanna’s ANTI takes top honors on the Billboard 200 to no one’s surprise. Yes, there were the skeptics who ready to pounce on her thanks to debuting initially at no. 27, but didn’t everyone expect a full-week would take Rihanna to the top?

2. Kevin Gates settles for the runner-up spot with Islah. For the Louisianan rapper, the numbers are quite respectable.

3. Adele settles for third place – unfamiliar territory for 25.

4. Sia’s This Is Acting can’t match the no. 1 spot that greeted 1000 Forms of Fear – it settles for no. 4. That said the numbers are actually better for Sia this time around.

5. Charlie Puth’s debut album Nine Track Mind debuts at no. 6. Not too shabby CP.

6. Dream Theater’s latest album The Astonishing debuts just outside of the top 10 at no. 11.

7. Panic! At The Disco’s Death Of A Bachelor falls out of the top 10, slipping from no. 5 to no. 13 in week three.

8. Tedeschi Trucks Band debuts at no. 15 with latest LP, Let Me Get By. The band’s previous album also landed in the top 15 of the chart.

9. Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams surges back into the top 20, likely ahead of its Super Bowl 50 performance.   The set rose from no. 37 to no. 16.

10. Not a good second week for Megadeth. Dystopia slipped 27 spots from no. 3 to no. 30. OUCH!

11. Grease Live!: The Music From the Television Event debuts at no. 37.

12. Tori Kelly’s Unbreakable Smile reenters the Billboard 200 at no. 42, thanks to its recent reissue with more songs.

13. Tank’s Sex Love & Pain II slips 40 spots in its second week on the charts (no. 15 to no. 55).

14. J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive: Live rises 108 spots after debuting at no. 179. This week, it sits at no. 71.

15. Indie-pop collective Wet’s debut album Don’t You debuts quietly at no. 75.

16. Beyoncé’s 4 improves 96 spots from no. 174 to no. 78. 4 has spent a total of 67 (nonconsecutive) weeks on the Billboard 200. This week, it bests Beyoncé’s more recent album Beyoncé, which sits at no. 96.

17. Alabama ShakesSound & Color ascends 40 spots from no. 122 to no. 82 in its 36th week on the charts.

18. Three weeks in, Hank Williams, Jr.’s It’s About Time sits at no. 84 after dropping 34 spots.

19. WOW Gospel 2016 scores a top 100 debut, landing at no. 90.

20. St. Lucia’s sophomore album Matter bests its first (When the Night) in regards to chart position. Still, Matter only musters up a no. 97 bow.

21. Tim McGraw’s Damn Country Music drops 40 spots from no. 61 to no. 101 in week nine.

22. After debuting at no. 159 last week, Mike Posner’s The Truth (EP) ascends 44 spots to reach a new peak, no. 115.

23. Michael W. Smith barely cracks the Billboard 200 as Hymns II: Shine On Us lands at a forgettable no. 172.

24. Michael W. Smith isn’t the only one struggling to sell albums. Yanni’s latest affair Sensuous Chill debuts one spot below Smith at no. 173.

25. Bloc Party lives on the edge – the real edge – as Hymns tepidly bows at no. 198.
